Hey, try changing the settings in "optiions > gameplay" on how the loot is displayed once it drops... you can select it to show for 10s or u need to press a key(alt is default) to show them.
As Qrama said, gearing your monk to an xp/healing spec will speed up paragon farming. the good thing is that majority of gears are craftable such as; cain's set, born and cpt. crimson's as well stormshield from kadala(if you need more cdr). i assume you have innas, hf ring, leoric... your friend will always want you in their group from all the buff and healing the spec brings.
You can still play your dh in groups(60-65) as long you carry your own weight and won't be dying that much.
Gauge your toughness and dps, if you die constantly or can't kill an elite in 3-6 seconds on particular T-level then you're not ready for it or vice versa. you should always find your sweet spot so as you can just blitz through mobs/elites 'cause the faster you can kill the higher chance to find an upgrade.
But if your in for the challenge and fun factor, by all means test your mettle in higher torments.
i can't view your profile "battle.net" here is blocked. just took a glance at your seasons toon. if you have aughuild's set and asheara's set and if your mats allow craft it ASAP, it will help alot on your toughness as well dps. As for torment t3-t4 is more apt at present stage of your gears.

There, used to be 4 support build/class but the time tested ones, that did survive seasons past are the monk and barb.
You can encounter DH and Wiz supports once in while.

Yup, it should run perfectly with the upgrades you making but;
you better invest in an SSD(solid state drive) to improve the loading time of you OS and applications substantially.

You can practice alone, open a gr65 rift and just tank everything, try to aggro some elites so as to test your life regen/sustain.

Healing Monk, HT & Carn wd, Hota Barb here, LF consistent group to push to GR70's
Razor#2330 - NA servers
Edit: i randomly join a set of friends(WD/DH & Barbs) that consistently clears 65+, problem is most of them can't stay that long in game.
