posted a message on My feelings on firebirds set current state

If this could be moved to the feedback on set forum I would really appreciate it. I'm on mobile and it's a little tough to do it.

This is not form on numerical data but based on how it feels to play this set compared to other wizard sets. I'll like to say that I find the DOT from the finishing the set doesn't really feel epic for it to be as the 6th tier, it feels as it should be 2th or 4th. The play style behind is best described as slow and tedious, why? Because the whole set builds up to a dot and once it's applied it feels nice but doesn't make me feel as powerful as other sets. The new set in the PTR i got to test briefly and it created a new sense of playstyle were I had control of the field with slow bubbles all around and the ability to use different abilities that were increase in dmg by the set felt fun and was varied. With that being said, I feel that firebird set need something along the same lines,ex. Enemy that take dmg from fire will take 500% from fire spender spell (meteor,AO,Blizzard, black hole, etc.) something along the line like this would make the set feel explosive (see what I did there) and fun. Not so much focused on getting the dot and running till it does from it.
Thanks for listing and let me know who you guys feel about it :)

posted a message on [PTR] almost infinite arcane orbs

I stumbled upon this build by accident and it works really well with the stun passive and spark rune, and a frozen orb build too. Since they both hit multiple times. Now I have multiple pieces of gear that add up to 15% arcane resource reduction which makes each orb cost 25.5 ap. Now I also have ap on crit on both my wep, offhand, and helmet which add up to 25 ap on crit, so basically each orb is free with a crit but the build throws orbs fast, depending on your AS that is. But to maximize the amount of AP I send to what I get back I run the familier with arcanot for the 2 AP a second and the passive that adds AP and another 2 AP a sec, now the next two spells I run are up to you use. I run magic wep with conduit which gives attacks a chance to add 1 AP on hit. I also run energy tap rune on Arcane armor for a baseline of 140 AP without the gear and paragon points. I find it to be a really fun build and I'll try to get some screen shots up and a vid too soon :)

    Edit:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQtpu-Bofz0&feature=youtu.be

I'm only at 33% crit chance so the extra APoC and AP helps, Im sure with reforging I could change it to have a higher crit chance so I could drop the APoC on helm.
