Arcane dynamo with wave of force and or shatter (since AD will be up constantly due to the thrown blade being the only direct damage spell. All spells except crystalize should benefit from arcane dynamo, Fight the monster, with thrown blades to build up arcane d, then cast AD enhanced diamond shards, then back to thrown blade, then when diamond shards explodes, cast wave of force right after, it seems like it would be a lot of fun.., All this increase AoE damage, but sacrifices almost none of the defense. Gotta chase down the ranged attackers, or cast Slow Time and then let them come to you as you play in the bubble... but against melee it seems solid enough.
If arcane dynamo works for magic weapon (no reason it shouldn't right ?) then it would increase the damage bonus to 90% which could increase SB damage from your weapon to 225%-256% weapon damage from SB compared to base? Think it'll work ? Worth a try ?
If it works, a weapon that does 100 damage, would be increased by 90% from magic weapon = 190pts of damage, then SB takes 135% of that damage which should be 256.5 pts of damage. So weapon damage times 2.56 would be the final damage, if weapon is 200 damage, then 200 X 2.56 = 512 pts of damage with every strike of SB.
Might have to rethink Death Blossom too if you could AD magic weapon, then AD death blossom later..the result could be, an abomination. 100 pt damage weapon after ad does 190 pts of damage with magic weapon, then 745% Death Blossom with AD and that 190 pts, would be 190 X 7.45 = 1415 pts of damage, from a 100 pt weapon, it'll be unfocused but it'll be devastating?
It also said, "your next non-signature spell"..... we've talked about this before, deals vs does, what is the meaning of deal... If it doesn't work that way at all why have it at such a high level? Hopefully someone will try it, really, how many ways are there to word it ? Deal, does, executes ? I'm focusing on the non-sig spell part and embracing the possibilities. I will however plan on the first build as being more likely to be used, aka having fewer question marks.
How do you know? I'll give you that, it looks like it is back to the drawing board on AD but then it looks like it is almost totally useless for almost everything..... except disintegrate/ray of frost channeling spells.

Because it would be completely broken balance wise? Sometimes you need to ask yourself if it sounds too good to be true.
It's more likely that Arcane Dynamo only works for damage dealing skills and doesn't even use up the proc if you cast one of the armor spells or Magic Weapon, Familiar, etc.
//edit: When is Arcane Dynamo useful? It seems like a pvp talent to me. It could be useful when you need a spike of damage. I can see it being useful against monks and barbs in pvp to damage them down before they heal back up.
Never thought of using it on familiar, it too is a non signature spell but what rune where you thinking of using it on Sumsarr? I couldn't really see a reason to use it on familiar ? Death Blossom with AD though could be good (even if magic weapon doesn't get AD) with simulacrum/enduring skin so that you don't take a lot of damage while your standing there channeling.
Ya I think the first one would be fun, if AD doesn't affect magic weapon, then I obviously won't use it on second build or magic weapon either. Ya I think meteor could be great with AD however I don't think it is just.... five hits and you have AD, that's why I favor using it on dis/RoF/Death Blossom spells that conceivably will keep the AD as long as you hold down the button and of course they all have low ap requirements made even lower with power of the storm, arcane presence. Disintegrate with Intensity could be better for AD if volatility explosions don't get AD as well... I just hope that spells with AD on them have some different look or something so we know if it is actually happening, or just a little sound like wind chimes or something

Edit: the builds look fun though even if AD doesn't work
