When he takes damage, he makes more, when he teleports he makes more... which of the two are doing the damage, and which are not, only broad spells can find out, and when you hit the right target, he makes more. I chose Slow Time Alabaster because I hoped that the copies would be able to fire faster and against a person, they wouldn't be able to tell who was doing the damage and wouldn't think that the Magic Missile person would be the main guy.... It is anti person more than monster but would probably work for a while with all the critical hits they should be able to silence them both though I don't know how long a person can be silenced or what spells can't... I'm torn between crimson MM and Alabaster... both could be equally useful.
I love your creativity man! Spot on, spot on! What a huge troll class. Buttttttttttt will your mirror images have a familiar with them? Will they have armor spells? I'm assuming they would because it says 'create a duplicate of yourself' but who really knows as of yet...
You're also dealing NO dmg which is horribly bad! They said somewhere that arena you will have more then 1 person attacking you. They haven't made 1v1 arena but I hope this will change because it would be fun trying your build in a 1v1 scenario.
To sum it up, you want to act like a image so that the person can't tell which one to target. A very possible thing to do! It will depend what spells your images cast OR will it be totally random between all your skills? So once this is established you can decide which spell(s) to use to troll while doing significant(KILL WORTHY) dmg!
I chose MM with Alabaster to guarantee the hit which powers up AD(arcane dynamo) which in turn makes your VERY powerful RoF(ray of frost) even stronger!
I used IA(ice armor) because if your images do get your shield as well then they will all have holy freeze(d2).
If they don't get your actually shield spell then use this build. It has SA(storm armor) with a golden in it to reduce all spells AP by 7. Also put in Astral Presence for a passive (makes Rof 20ap/sec instead of 29)and took out Temporal Flux. Reason: Rof will slow your enemies by freezing them.
This build can be very fun. But some changes I would make.
- No reason for this build to ever need Prodigy. But you also have 3 spells with cooldowns. Switch to Evocation.
This is personal preference, but I'm not sure about crit chance using this build. Will wizard gear have a lot of precision/crit? So I switched
-Archon with Indigo for an extra Slow Time, but only if it also takes on the properties of your Alabaster rune
- or - Arcane Orb with Obsidian Rune, now you have protection against any mobs that get too close + they will take dmg and get slowed allowing you to get out of there.
- Final change which is also pure preference is using MM with Alabaster rune. No Aiming.
The reason for prodigy is to charge the energy armor (after the wizard takes numerous hits.... with stretch time increasing cast speed, fighting this person would be very bad depending on how long a person can be silenced by a critical hit. (See Diablowiki) They would do a lot of damage if mirror images get speed increase as well. Weird how the build has changed so much since my post.... With the changes they made to MM and crimson, now it is even worse
It was:
MM crimson
Energy armor alabaster
Slow Time Alabaster
Mirror Images (Mimic)
Teleport (Indigo)
Prodigy, AP, Illusion.

Also, what are you talking about with "silenced"?

Are you expecting to get up close and personal in PvP with this? Would Explosive Blast or Wave of Force be worth it?
