Hi. I was wondering if someone could help clarify a few questions I have. Note that I am talking about the affix sometimes found on weapons and not the barbarian skill (assuming they are treated differently).
1. Can bleeds crit?
2. Assuming bleed is applied again on the same target, does the duration refresh?
3. If there is another DoT effect on the target, is bleed and the other DoT effect treated as one or are they treated seperately?
4. If bleeds can crit, can they proc crit-specific effects such as Critical Mass and Night Stalker? I know that DoTs can indeed proc these effects, but I am wondering if bleed is treated the same way.
5. Does any skill inflict bleed? Assuming it's a 25% chance to inflict bleed, do all skills have the same chance to inflict it?
6. What happens if you have 2 seperate pieces of equipment with a chance to inflict bleed?
I am aware some of these questions might be a little deep, but if someone out there knows, I'd be grateful if they could answer me. Thank you!
1. Dont know have not toyed with it to much but i have never seen em do that.
2. bleed refreshes the duration on teh target and does not stack.
3. bleed from say rend (barbarin) will stack with bleed from items.
4. if bleeds could crit, they will proc abilitys that requires crits to proc. Tho, they might have realy low "proc cofficient" (meaning diffrent skills have diffrent chances to proc certan stuff)
5. Barbarian, skill rend does a bleed, have not checked all skills on alla classes.
6. as the duration is the same of 5 seconds on all bleed items, they will just add together so if you have 100-300 bleed on one item and 200-600 bleed on another, they will do a total of 300-900 damage over 5 sec.
7. Bleed is not increased by primary stat. it is however increased by abilitys like Hex(WD) taget takes and extra 10%(20%) extra damage.
also on number 6. i guess that bleeds % chance to hit is added multiplicative to each other. so if you have 3 items with bleed, say 25% proc 35% proc and 10% proc the total will be (0,75*0,65*0,90) = 43-44% chance to proc, have not tested this out tho. so this is pure specculation.

I am also a bit confused about this whole bleed thingie.
I want to add my own question:
7. Is bleed damage increased by your primary stat and any skill +dmg% bonuses?
2. bleed refreshes the duration on teh target and does not stack.
