Now here is something interesting. Apparently:
"We have detected that your video card is not supported by Diablo III beta"
Which usually means okay time for an upgrade. The problem is the graphics card is a Radeon 5850
other specs include: win7 sp1, dx11c
chip type: ATI display adapter (0x6899)
DAC type: Internal Dac (400)MHz)
also no problems found in dxdiag.
other information from Catalyst:
Direct3D Version 8.14.10.0700
OpenGL Version 6.14.10.9030
Catalyst™ Control Center Version 2009.1006.2226.38455
I thought it might be a software issue, help if you can its not a huge deal. I'm doing some trouble shooting of my own as well. Thinking about rolling back the graphics card and CCC. Again help out if you can.
2009 is the key... It's time for an upgrade yes. Driver upgrade! I'm running the same card just fine.
A forgive the lack of RTFM deal I tried several things but forgot to read.. haha I'll give this a shot. tis interesting that it doesn't like the 2009 one tho. Hmm well I'll post back and show the results and see if I can end thread.
3 Notes: the newest version of CCC is beautiful and I'm in love with it. Second it works with that update and any update in between. Last D3 works without CCC but why on earth would you want that...Thanks again dood. I suppose since I have an account now no more lurking for me eh!? return 0}

Edit: Hm.. on the other hand that's only the cataclyst control center that seems outdated. Well try downloading the latest anyway. Never hurts.
