Thanks for continuing the trend of worsening the website every time, which every websites in history seems to be following. I guess with the community going to hell, the design change is fitting.
Honestly, after d3 is released I figured I wouldn't be returning to this site, but I think i'll delete it from my favorites a bit earlier considering this terrible design change.
Thanks for having the best D3 info on the web for the years. Bye.

Once again posting for the sake of saying you hate it is pointless and of 0 help.
What makes this design worse? What don't you like? What would you change?
How do you expect anything to get better when you just post like that?
Two things I've seen that were essential on the previous board but which doesn't really work out all too well here:
1. It's hard to see which threads have new posts; currently there's an extremely thin black line to the left of the thread name. Constantly squinting and leaning in towards the screen whenever one enters a new forum is not a pleasant experience. Either making the line much more noticeable or bringing back the old design where unread threads were bold and read threads weren't would be much obliged.
2. There's no easy way to go to the first unread post of a thread. I have to click the tiny little arrow first to get a preview and from there go to the first unread, rather than through one click going to the first unread, as was possible under the previous design.
3. This isn't as big of a deal, but the Wysiwyg interface isn't my cup of tea. And that you can turn it off is great, but this also prevents you from using all the nifty buttons that bold text or create lists. In the previous version, there was no wysiwyg interface, but it was still possible to mark a piece of text and haave it all turned into a list. If this can be brought back, so that it is active while the wysiwyg interface is disabled in the top left of the posting window, it would be great. Essentially what I want is to be able to push the buttons without having the formatting applied to my reply window.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

I started to write a word document of bugs/issues with the new design and these three are also my biggest points about the new design that I really would love for to be fixed. Then there's lots of small stuff but if these three were fixed the enjoyment of browsing and posting on the forum would go up to "almost perfect" in my book :).
Has anyone else been getting some horrible lag upon loading the home page? It also seems to have a slight delay during scrolling down the page with the mouse wheel if you scroll too fast...
To help explain my circumstances; I'm on broadband and using Chrome so I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this lag.
Just wanted to chime in again, since I was the OP of this topic.
The site layout has actually grown on me. Just wanted to apologize for jumping to conclusions when I happened to log on during the turn over phase. Site looks great!
using chrome 16.0.9 the back button no longer function as desired, it seems everytime a new add is loaded the whole page reloads, so you have have to hit back 4 or 5 times to go back depending on how many add changes you were on the page for.
ummm blue posts work...
you do know the blue posts on the front page are twitter posts.. and IT forum blues...
oh and.. bibi isnt a coder.. he Didnt code the new site.. =/

Obviously that's true, but how can we know what's on it and what's not :P? I might or might not post my list soonish anyway

Yup, same for me in Chrome. It's the signature that overlays above the reputation button.
If I go into Chrome's web development tool and hover over the signature DIV:
You can see that it is above the reputation button.
If I simply delete the signature node from the HTML then it looks like this:
And the reputation button works again. This also works if you ignore a poster's signature.
That would be why it works fine for me. I have all the signatures hidden.

No, the software was updated
anyone else noticed this?
