Played with Umaro this morning when I got home from work. I noticed he sheds and smells like cement.

Probably no new mod for a long time. That's my guess

We have 2 active mods and 2 fairly active admins, and about 15,000 members with on average 50 topics posted in daily

Yeh... a bit more then 4 mods would be nice. 2 for each forum discussion thing or something, if there are enough trusted people for that.

I might add that I've noticed an increase in activity from current mods lately. So, that's good.

its not just a matter if there are enough, its that there arent enough people that are on enough every day to actually moderate.

I'd have to not vote for Siaynoq, gots my reasons. Not because he's mean to me btw, cause he isn't.

I say... Well, it's hard to say. No one else is really on enough (or mature enough) to moderate, that I can think of. No one really stands out.

For the most part, I would just limit my moderating to deleting spam bot threads or merging threads that are too similar. You know, just the most basic things.

I just noticed something. Isn't Snotspill the guy who stole the tavern sign in Diablo 1?

Anyway, we do seem to need someone to kill those spam bots when Elfen is offline.

I feed bad for Elfen sometimes just because everyone expects him to be the one to solve all these problems. Our absent admins aside, there are also other moderators on the site who also leave everything up to Elfen.

Elfen's a good fellow though.

And I remember killing Snotspill with like 4 scrolls of Fire Wall and 2 of Lightning Wall. Carnage among the masses.

Of course he's a good guy. I'm just saying I feel bad that when anyone has a complaint or a demand they always feel they have to go to Elfen about it. When there are other moderators as well as admins who could also handle those situations.

Like who? Silver? Is he a mod? The only active mod out there is Elfen, that I kow of at least.
