-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
At the time I was the only 3000+ posts user. And few were even close to 2000+
Yes we do need some 3000+ user titles.
I would love for some more Diablo-esque titles. 5000+ = Ancient or Nephalem. As it would clearly denote my years of existance, me, like them have been around almost since time began. However a spammer could reach that total and it would seem quite as special.

Unfortuately, that is a risk we have to take. There is no way to truly avoid that situation.

So would I, too bad I am the only user in that realm. And as an Admin, my status overrides user titles. And Custom Title overrides all. But yeah, if I didn't have my custom titles it would read Admin, not whatever the 8000-8999 title was.

One set for all users, on all schemes. Thems the rules, err coding.
I would need to review the coding, as it is actually an entirely different set of codes, but it is possible to have a title before your user name. This means it is possible to have something like the titles gained in LOD, Sir Lord, Baron, Slayer, Destroyer, Guardian. You can still only have the one set of titles, so you can't have both Lord and Lady or Patriarch and Matriarch.
But it is possible for you to become Guardian LinkX for example.
course it would be more like
Guardian
LinkX
Actually, since it's an entirely different set of codes you can have
Lord
LinkX
The Defender
or something along those lines. Would need to review the coding and how it works. WOuld take some time, but is doable I think. Yeah would need to check the coding as last time I tried, the tiles came after the name, not before it like I wanted. But it's not impossible as if you look at this;
you will see a + either side of my name, that is infact a perk you gain for a certain number of posts, it is a title of sorts.
It is also Possible for ranks to be pictures.
Well sort of, Sage of Wisdom is my user title, the Din Clan is my clan banner (SICK could have one of those), but I merely bring this up to show that titles do not have to be text only.

Well hypothetically speaking, how hard would it be to change the code?
Or do you mean the vBulletin "base" code?
Yes, hardcoded uneditable V bulletin base code.

I am not going to monitor everyone's posts. 18,000 users here. That's a lot.
Anyone going to actually suggest any titles or not?
I tell you what you can do, images, text before, after, before and after names, and hardly anyone suggests anything.
Judging from post prior to this thread's creation, one would assume people were keen on changing the titles.

Anyway, I think we should have another rank after 3000+ posts. So at 5000 or whatever you get a different rank.
Yes we do need some 3000+ user titles.

The only thing im afraid is people will become crazy and spam/ post idiotic threads to feed up their post to get these cool titles* cough fbim*
Edit: Maybe if we monitor them, all spammers rank can become 'fbim4'
lol you win this thread.
Anyway, I would like to see up to 8k or 9k, though I will post my suggestions when I get on my computer...

maybe a title called Hammer Spammer (hammerdin)
Or have titles be like unique monsters (ex: 0-9 posts your Rakanishu 10-100 your Bishibosh and so on)
Yes, hardcoded uneditable V bulletin base code.
