What's with all these gigantic DPS buffs? They are handing them out like party favors. 3k+ DPS weapons, double, triple, even 10x damage coefficients. How will this affect the game?

I don't know. I've given up trying to understand it, there's so much going on outside of these changes we don't know about. Hard to grasp the big picture most of the time. That's testing for you I guess.
I will say that increasing that Ground Stomp rune from 76% damage to 900% actually makes a great deal of sense based on what other classes are capable of. I mean the Monk has had something like that on their bells since a few patches ago, figures most other skills would follow suit.
Wow what a WD nerf. Soul Spirit int down to 2% from 130%. I guess that will make their DPS more in line with the other classes.
Nice to see some DH love, especially double damage of Ball Lightning and RF getting even stronger. My wiz is gonna love the buffs to Arcane Mines, Sleet Storm and the huge buff to Blizzard.
Hammer of the Ancients Cost: 20 Fury / Call forth a massive hammer to smash enemies directly in front of you for 535% weapon damage. Hammer of the Ancients has a 1% increased Critical Hit Chance for every 5 Fury that you have. (Damage up from 325%)
Because if ANYTHING needed a buff, it was Hammer of the Ancients!

Holy shit! After a year and a half they finally figured out that Disintegrate:Entropy and Ray of Frost:Sleet Storm are balanced exactly the wrong way around. Great work guys, give yourselves a raise. All kidding aside, most of this makes it look like they are pretty content with the function and just want to nail the right number damage-wise. I'm still waiting for the day they finally figure out that the way they are balancing Zombie Charger is not working. At all. It doesn't take a scientist to figure that one out.

I hope we can have any semblance of balance with those crazy legendaries, or at least that they deal with the extremely broken stuff on a more regular basis (when we find out about what's OP)...

Oh I see. So you would need 6500 int to get the same effect. Doesn't sound entirely unrealistic.
