Knowing Blizzard, the Diablo Bar™ system seen in these screenshots was probably designed over the course of many months of work by a crack-team of Blizzard graphic artists, ventriloquists and entomologists. Planning it was a 12-step process, followed by numerous consultations with leading experts, then a large number of rough sketches were rendered in Etch-a-Sketch. Then when it came time to deciding on a final design, following vicious weeks of in-fighting and backstabbing, a final design was agreed upon. Then the graphics artists worked 24-hour shifts non-stop for 3 months designing it from scratch, pixel by pixel in Microsoft Paint. Add to that 1 month for compiling the final product, 1 month for beta-testing on numerous monitors, and 1 month for shipping to Irvine from the depths of Mongolia, and that was it.

What about this idea: Those 5 wallpapers are the reward for the next 25000 Likes (975k to 1 million) and the actual reward for the 1 million Likes is yet to come. Isn't that possible? That would be the 20th reward then, which would make sense aswell imo. Any thoughts?

Just because 20 sounds better than 19 for a final reward. But thats not my mainpoint, just a sidenote. My mainpoint was, that the 5 screenshots could be for the 25k likes and that there still might be something to come for the whole of 1 million.
I'm no math major but I'm pretty sure hitting the 1 million mark was the goal and not 1025000 mark.
In any case, if you really want to use that rigorous sense of logic of yours, let's look at what we have here.
We have been given artwork-screenshot combination all this time and then, lo and behold! 5 wallpapers!
So yes, everything would point out that this is definitely meant to be the special reward. Not wanting to be party-pooper but now you are really setting yourself up for disappointment.
Incidentally I wasn't expecting anything substantial from this whole deal.
I'm just vaguely amused by it all and that it turned out to be old stuff which had better wallpapers made out of them ages ago.
I just wanted a cinimatic :'( Just like when the starcraft like bar got full they got a wallpaper and the ghost of the past trailer.....Wheres our Diablo has returned trailer!!! DAMN IT BLIZZARD

E3 is next week, so perhaps we will get some new information at the convention. Also, speaking of anti-climatic, the heart of the swarm announcement was weirdly timed and announced. Blizzard usually does a nice job of creating buzz and witholding details about a project to ensure that its announcement is a spectacle, but the heart of the swarm announcement and the 1 million like mark both fell short.

Blizzard did not do this because there are these wallpapers on your Facebook page much less the official webpage of the game. I do not give a fuck if the Sixen not put fake. but I think we were instructed to help with this to give Blizzard a while the real surprise. Sorry for english I'm Brazilian.
