When we get D3 / SC2 will we have to register those games on our Battle.net accounts and then log into Battle.net via the game using our email addresses as the account names? That'll be weird
"As an example, we just found out that Diablo III players will possibly deal with all their trading directly by whispers in the new network. With this in mind, we can expect many simple and useful features directly in the system."
"the new Battle.net will be built on programming that prevent any form of hacking or cheating. Taking several lessons from WoW in that regard, "duping" in Diablo III will be come impossible."

Both of those are news to me. I'm really glad they are putting or at least trying to put a stop on duping. Plus I can't wait to get the scoop on the trading and how it's handled through whispers.

Kaplan: Your 'WoW' score would be just one factor that will go into your Blizzard Level. And rather than call it a 'score,' we just wanted it to be like you're leveling up on Blizzard games' You'll have this Blizzard identity, and you'll be able to see things like 'Oh, this guy was great at Diablo III, but he never played Starcraft and he was mediocre in WoW. That sort of thing.

1. We knew that trading via chat/whispers will be possible. They didn't give a 100% confirmation but said that they want to do it and are looking into it.
2. They don't have to 'try' to put a stop on duping. That's a thing of the past.

I was just posting to let me people know the relevant D3 information. I didn't know about this stuff, so maybe some other people don't. Unless you speak for everyone....

That being said, a number of you have said it's not open to EU yet. Don't know if that's the case or not, but I registered an account on the US site, and it could perfectly well select Sweden as my country of choice. Wouldn't make much sense to put that option in there if the accounts were to be region specific now would it?
Besides, why should it be regions specific? It's not like someone out there has the same mail as you do
EDIT: Nvm, I see you were talking about WoW accounts.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
Made my new battle.net account last night, merged my WoW account with it and added all my blizzard games. I don't know about you guys but I'm pretty excited about this new system.

"No one gets to heaven 'til they've lived awhile in hell and even then it's rare that you'll be going there."
There's still a big problem with the new battle.net..
When i add a game and choose a language.. i can't change it.. for example: I choosed "English (US) for diablo 2.. but i want 'English (EU)".. so now i can't change it to EU.. i hope they will add an option to change it soon.. if not.. it's very strange.. i think i'm gonna mail them for that issue..
