i have an AA in social sciences majoring in Graphic Design but i am no where near experienced enough to work for blizzard. but hell, id mop the floors and scub thier toliets just to work for them.
Too bad. Experience with the Photoshop is not enough to work at Blizzard.
3D design with programs like Blender and 3DS Max doesn't take an awful long to get a hold of
For a couple of games i had to make some models, pretty scrappy as i prefer code but i am sure people who have a desire for desiging and stuff could be pro in no time.
*Note* Blender is freeware and 3DS Max is not, though a little birdy told me that warez can help you there!
If you heard what Rob Pardo said in an interview they have an act or two done and all the classes are playable. So it really isn't that far from being completed. The only thing that will take time is perfecting it, so playing it once through and making sure all the monsters are storng enough to be of challenge and so on, simple things like that.
Also majority of the jobs are design based, so its really all about the graphics and visuals seeing as the engine and physics have been implemented.
I understand, I just don't like that the dungeon they showed is not scary, like, AT ALL.
I do understand it's probably a dungeon for act 1 beginning so yea, it can be like that I guess. I just want some environments to look scary. Not only the monsters, thats all I want and I'm 100% confident they will make it perfect.
They only showed ONE indoor so it's kinda normal people are generalizing.
