The 1.10 patch of Diablo II added the synergy bonuses. The idea being that low-level skills can provide a bonus to high-level skills. This way, low-level characters don't have to "waste" skill points on low-level skills that will eventually become obsolete.
The fallout from this is that it has become more difficult to build a character. Diablo II is an easy game to get into, but requires a lot of planning ahead to build a successful character.
So, my question is, will building a character in Diablo III be as easy as the gameplay? Will it require as much planning as post-1.10 Diablo II?
Will there be a deeper more useful crafting system?
Will there be hot keys for each potion life/mana/antidotes etc.?
Will mercenary's be in Diablo 3 and will you be able to equip them fully rings amulet boots belts etc? on that note will there be hot keys for giving your mercenary potions?
Will you improve the graphics to make them more dynamic, real, and less cartoony?

What is normal? Normal is a concept that everyone or a majority of people are the same or similar. However, we know that everyone is unique. If everyone is unique, then everyone is different. If everyone is different, then everyone is weird. If everyone is weird, then everyone is normal.
Ladies and gents, I think we have the graphics question covered (with snarky comments from both sides). At least 4 people have asked if Blizzard has any reaction to the petition about the graphics.
1. I may have missed the answer to this somewhere but is the Necromancer going to be replaced by the Witch Doctor? And if so, will the Witch Doctor be able to summon skeletons, and possibly other things like zombies and demons?
2. You may already be planning or already done this but could different sized shoulder pads be implemented to satisfy everyone, those against large shoulder pads and those for it and those who don't care?
I honestly don't care but there are those who do. And instead of making them all small and paper thin, there could be a variety of large and small shoulder pads to make everyone happy.
3. Is the Barbarian going to still be the only class that can jump? Or will all have the ability to do so. Although I can't imagine any class other than the Barbarian being able to jump across that destroyed bridge in the game play video.
4 There were a lot of useless skills in Diablo 2 that only served to allow access to higher damage skills that did basically the same thing. And once you got a higher damage skill, the lower ones would never be used again. Will this change in Diablo 3?
In other words, will there be more unique and diverse skills that do different things instead of being near duplicates of each other.
An example would be the Sorceress's Ice Bolt, Ice Blast, and Glacial Spike. These three skills were very similar to each other. I feel skills like these take up space that could be better used for different skills that do other stuff.
5. Will there still be a large variety of magic properties for weapons and armor? Will there be many new ones added if any?
6. One thing I didn't like about a lot of the lower level unique and set items in Diablo 2 was that their usefulness did not last long. As soon as a higher level magic or rare item dropped I often found myself throwing them away to make room for the better items.
Could there be a way to make unique and set items scale with your character level? So they will always be good?
edit: These may not be the best questions to ask right now, sorry if they're not.
^^^^^^^ lol so you're not gonna play diablo 3 just because every class might be able to jump? .. lol..
so many to read, don't know if it has been asked.. and don't know if it veers too far off from the gameplay trailer..
we see that certain skills have certain maximums (1, 5, 20)..
will items have +skills? skill tree? to all skills?
if so, would a maxed out skil 5/5 with a +1 all skills show as 6/5? and how will it be calculated?
i'm assuming a skill that only has a maximum of 5 or 1 is a 'good' skill and since D2 had a potential of over +10 skills it would seem to be overkill in D3
1. In the gameplay video we saw three item qualities; white, yellow, and purple. Can you please explain the differences between each and the possiblitiy of other qualities?
2. During the gameplay video an "Elixer of Vitality I" dropped. Can you explain Elixers and the benefits and roles they will play in Diablo 3?
3. Can we expect to see "Acts" returning as well as the three difficulty modes?
-Will there be a difference between difficulty modes other than the monsters becoming harder to kill? (Eg. different areas to explore, more dungeons, new monsters, new bosses etc...)
4. With the announcement of a more Co-Op oriented game, are players still going to be able to finish end game content solo or will they require help from a group?
5. Can you comment on what kind of talent/skill system players will be using and how skills and skill points will be aquired and used in Diablo 3?
-Will the attribute system of Diablo 2 remain or will a new system replace it?
6. Do you have any information that you are able to share on classes other than the Witch Doctor and the Barbarian? If not, when will this information be available to the public?
7. What can players expect to see with the PVP system being reworked?
You guys are touting this game as primarily a co-operative game. Any chance of co-operative team vs team arenas and/or tournaments? Any plans to make this an e-sport with "pros" like your other two franchises, Warcraft, and Starcraft?
1) How much control over the graphics does the game give the player? Will the people who dislike the green/blue glow, for example, be able to reduce the color?
2) Is there any chance at all that the models of the characters (mainly the shoulder-pads. Ouch!) will be changed from now to the release date.

Ranger - Ranged Weapon Mastery (fire a bow or javelins like a machine gun!), Traps (MK style!), Pets (lions, tigers, and bears oh my!) - physical damage based
Demonologist - Bone Spells (Necro style!), Avatar (shapeshift into a demon!), Furies (evil spirits that hang around you, giving party bonuses) - mix of physical damage and magic

Can you tell us more about the environment in the game. there will be climate changes like rain, snow, dust storms or day changes (day, evening, night) ?
1. Is there any reason that you are trying to cater to a new fanbase with the new art direction rather than sticking to the old style that already had a large following, hoping that they will stay? Did you not see what happened with Star Wars Galaxies when they changed the game style radically to cater to a non-existant fanbase in the hopes (and failing at) capturing them? Why would you change the style of a series of games rather than sticking with what already works?
2. Will there be more Diablo influences within the game, or have we seen what there is to see? What I mean is, are we going to be seeing pentagrams and corpses everywhere, or are they being removed to make the game more "appealing" to the audiences? Is this going to be like Aliens vs. Predator rather than Aliens in style?
3. Will Battlenet 2.0 be pay-to-play?
4. Will you be more supportive of mod-makers for Diablo III, or will they be ostrasized again (like when D2 came out)?
5. Are you looking to finish off the Diablo franchise as it is with this game (plus expansions) or are you looking to the future of having more Diablo games (ie. Diablo IV rather than World of Diablo)?
6. I have played Diablo and Diablo II, and then Dungeon Siege I and 2, Titan Quest, NoX, Neverwinter Nights, Sacred, Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance I and II, and Champions of Norrath I and 2. All were done and touted to be "Diablo Killers". All failed as they lacked the "feel" of Diablo. What will Diablo III include that will make it a Diablo Killer since it has given up the "feel" of Diablo as well?
I would like to know about the item identification and portaling systems in Diablo 3. In Diablo 2 you had to buys scrolls and carry around a Tome of Identify (if you wanted to identify items while outside town) and a Tome of Town Portal, which both took up valuable inventory space for basic game functions. I kind of liked the way Titan Quest implemented these things by eliminating the need to identify items and giving every character the ability to open a portal without having to take up inventory space for scrolls.
The fallout from this is that it has become more difficult to build a character. Diablo II is an easy game to get into, but requires a lot of planning ahead to build a successful character.

2. Contrary to Diablo II, will gold be more valuable in Diablo III?
3. Regarding the PVP system, will it be mutual-agreement dueling or will players be able to forcefully kill each other?
4. Will you implement an achievement system for kill counts, player-kill counts, death counts, quest-completion counts and etcetera?
5. Keith Lee hinted that the Witch-Doctor may replace the Necromancer, has Blizzard come to a decision yet and why?
6. Regarding the map of Sanctuary, does Xiansai have anything related to the Asian culture?
7. Will there be Game-Masters and a much more hack-protected community for Diablo 3?
8. When is Blizzard planning to reveal more of the game through means such as another game-play video?
9. Regarding the cinematic trailer, who is the girl and who is the demon with three mouths?
10. Will there be a beta version of Diablo III in which the public can participate?
1. Will the little wee fallen return in d3. the little munchkins haha ??
and
2. Has the Diablo 3 dev team been shaken at all by the small but loud group of people complaining about the art direction.
2. You may already be planning or already done this but could different sized shoulder pads be implemented to satisfy everyone, those against large shoulder pads and those for it and those who don't care?

2. Will you be able to choose your merc's skills?
3. Will there be a return of "Universal Skills" i.e. Spell Books from Diablo 1?
4. Will male and female classes have any difference other than look?
My other 2 cents, my other q's are on page 3 on the top. Very good q's on page 3
