cool; i think it can be done in flash too in any actionscript 2.0 or 3.0 hahaha can`t wait to see that, being graphical makes it enjoyable and convincing to use. just make it simple and understandable for users though

What exactly would you be looking for? Runewords aren't items, so I can't think of a way to represent them with item graphics. I guess I could add the graphic for each rune image...?
(I could achieve the same level of animation with Javascript, if I knew what you were thinking/knew how to do it; although, it looks like Actionscript is based on ECMAScript, which is what Javascript is based on, so I might be able to learn it fast.)
well i`m not actually saying you can create it on flash or anything. i`m just sud-jesting it would be nicer in flash. and yes it can be done in java script same level as the action script. good luck to you guys
Oh, you made that last one Mag? That's awesome. I'll be using that one then.
Just a heads up. If you click the "select all" button, and then deselect them one by one, the button still reads "deselect all" but actually selects them. If you didn't get that, try it out yourself. It shouldn't be hard to fix.

Yeah, it's a logic error that I'm still trying to work out. I've been staring at it for two straight hours.
It's a curious thing, although it makes sense. You'll see "if($(childrenName + ':checked').length)". Since computers interpret 0 as false, and since the Javascript length property starts at 0, when there's only one item checked, it sends zero to the if statement, and it interprets it as false. Or at least that's what I think is happening.
Anyway, I do keep finding partial solutions, but unfortunately they've all broken something else in the process.
I've noticed a trend, maybe it helps you find out where the error is:
-Click select all (in any category)
-Deselect any combination that includes the first option
-Click deselect all
This actually selects all, and the button still reads "deselect all"
-Click select all (in any category)
-Deselect any combination that doesn't includes the first option -Click deselct all
This works as intended
I've no idea how you coded it, but the problem may be there
One problem that's occurring (and I consider it so minor as to not worry about), if you have SELECTED ALL and the DESELECT ALL link is shown, if you deselect a single checkbox, the DESELECT ALL should change to SELECT ALL because that's how it behaves at that point.
possible solution:
The text for DESELECT ALL should also listen to for if one of the children checkboxes is deselected, change text to SELECT ALL and that should clear it up.
Selecting "Runewords I can almost make" displays both runewords that I can already make and those that I can almost make. It shouldn't display the ones I can already make when I select the "I can almost make" option, IMO. Also, there's no functionality to display what runes I'm missing from those that I can almost make (like in this one, which would be very nice to have.
And will somebody put a direct link to Magistrate's site under the Tools.

(And anything else you can think of?)
I'll find this very useful next time I play. Always a pain looking them up on the Arreat Summit.

Damn you, Cherub.

Not too sure about the other problem yet.
All of these are really minor fixes tho.
edit: or should I say fun big language?
I'll convert the drop down list to a checkbox list in case a user wants both.EDIT-
Fixed. Do you think the effect on missing runes is enough or should I do something to the rune images?
(Also added some quick links immediately under "x results found" - if you click one, it'll take you straight to the runeword. Handy for long results.)
