This is probibly old news for everyone, but it has been a while since I've been online due to exercise deployments. I just wanted to say how great the site is looking!
Yes, the site is looking pretty nifty. The new color scheme has been gradually growing on me. They still gotta move that home page link over to the left corner though.
Yeah, the sad smiley is broken. What I'm complaining about is I'm more likely to click the home page link than the user CP link. So it may as well be the first link. Yes, I know it's not that big of a deal, but it's also a minor thing to fix. I think even Atrumentis agreed with me on this point.
lol, I do agree with you. If only I was an admin, I would be able to fix it. Alas, I am not, and only have the power to create images for Jetrall to codically implement himself.
Thanks for the kind words, J. I'll have a look at some of the issues mentioned here. One of the things I'll be fixing in the days to come is that accursed sad smiley. Still don't know why it aint working.
It was obviously the emoticon thief gnome. They say in local folklore that he comes in the dead of night and makes away with everyone's sad emoticons, very unfortunate.
I also don't like the online status indicator. Before you had either a gray box or green box and it was easy to distinguish. The new indicator you have to kind of squint at to see if that person is online. You should be able to tell just at a glance if a user is online.

yeah, i really do like the way the site looks now, but yes, like others have mentioned, there are a few things that could be fixed. one thing that i have trouble with, is that i have trouble seeing what threads have been posted in, and what ones havent been posted in lately. back before the site was changed, it was obvious what threads were hot, and which werent.

World of Warcraft - Finnegin- Level 80 Enhancement Shaman
I havn't explored all the areas yet, but so far I have managed to find everything. The only part that I don't like is that my job has blocked the image gallery due to some of the art being questionable. I guess you have to love the military. Heh! Anyway, I have to say again that I just love the color scheme and the layout. I may have to come up with a piece of art and submit it so that I can petition to have it added to the sites template. We'll see.

I know you're an artist. But what are your qualifications as a web master? As coding? As programming? I'm curious. It sounds like you're not really doing much of the art aspect, but more of the coding for the web page.
I'm doing both actually. My qualifications include a 5 year background in the field, having designed multiple websites over the years, working professionally on websites and designs, and running / administrating / moderating at numerous other forums and sites which I helped to code & design myself.
Atru and me both worked on the preliminary graphics for the new layout, but any new images are going to be original to me. I will also continue to fiddle with the code in an effort to improve the boards.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

Or, I am right, and Blizzard has already given Umaro tons of fan-site material for D3!!!!
