If depends on what ur using jamoose. If u installed it then yea ull have to do what she said. If ur using an older versions of ES, one with a patch.mpq file, u simply need to switch the files. If u deleted ur old patch.mpq file then u need to reinstall D2.
Oh btw does anyone know if increased MF increases the chance of getting set items in gamble?
also about the whole nihalathak thing, is nihalathak really as strong as everyone is saying? at least his area? Cuz I did the lost farm, and every other thing first time I came upon them so far and I'm in the last act of normal.
How do I do a dual install? and is there a wayI can do it without actually installing d2 again, can I just make a copy of it to upgrade one and not the other? is so how?
It's easy to hack characters that aren't saved on battle.nets servers. and I know mxl works I used to play it, but it's updated. R6D just wasn't made ofr 1.12 D: It also means that if I wanna keep playing eastern sun I can't play regular D2 on battle.net. Cuz I'd have to update it to go on :[ or am I mistaken? cuz if someone knows how I can make D2 work on battle.net without wrecking eastern sun I'd love to know
Lol w/e u've won ur silly argument. I don't feel like continuing such a pointless discussion further ^-^ median XL rox. I wish eastern sun could go online does anyone know why the maker does't make a 1.12 version?
Alright for one, I'm not making shit up lol, u never stated that it was ur opinion, u said it as if it was a fact, not an opinion, that's the problem.
And yes I do realize that u could mean that, however, forgive me for giving MY opinion, but it sounds very much like you're biased against XL. How long have u actually played XL before? Also, how do you play D2 anyway? What do you wish to gain from it? and what makes u feel that that the differences in Eastern sun are BETTER than those of median? I mean it IS ur opinion and that's fine, but the 2 mods aren't even close to similar. Eastern sun is obviously for changing the entire gameplay of D2 all the way through. Median XL, however, was obviously made for the purpose of more specific challenge (uberquests) and a totally new approach to characters. You can't fairly choose which of the 2 is better because the purposes of both are different. All you can really do is decide which one u prefer to play because of ur own expectations of D2
It's a video game Zhar. You're trying to makea point as if ur preferences of gameplay are global. Everyone lieks different things. If they didn't, sports games wouldn't exist, because I hate sports games.
Also you're kind of arguing your own point by saying that since it's a new experience it's not neccessarily good, yet also stating how ES's skills are changed for the better. Choose one.
Some people like to stick with the stuff they know. That's fine. Personally I like variety. I like new things. I mean if u didn't want new things why are you playing a mod at all? Why are u playing LOD? U might as well have stuck with original D2, played it forever. The fact that your playing a mod shows you like the new aspects. THe reason the new skill trees in XL matters is because it's less like he revamped old characters, but more like he created totally new ones. That's what makes it interesting. It's a whole new experience of gameplay.
Besides it's a GAME. U can't compare it with new and old in real life. And the attitude that old and effective is better in a game is what made normal battle.net D2 so boring. all in all theres 15-20 builds that everyone uses. And frankly, u have to use them too if u want to be any good. U can't customize ur character to ur own preference unless u wanna get stuck somewhere in the middle of nightmare or hell. Making the characters different allows u to try new builds,
I figure that ES isn't as popular as Median XL simply because people can play median XL on open bnet. Sides XL isn't for the D2 aspect anyway. people play XL for the uberquests, summoning stuff, and all those things. Those godly challenges xD
Not to mention the completely new skill trees, while bland as some say, ARE completely new. median is the only mod that totally redid the skill trees, and I personally was drawn to that aspect.
