other thing too is, i did some research couple minutes ago and end up there's videos you can watch on how to do this....i found them at youtube.com and search "how to bypass realm down" i'm sure you'll find them very interesting and useful.
Lol, reference a link? Trust me, if typing how to bypass realm down turns up results on youtube. I'll be amazed.
well ill give it a shot to see if it works, can you explain this step please:
Go to "start menu" and find/click "Connect to" and click on "show all connection".
where is the connect to thing?
Connect To: isn't always on the Start Menu. Another way to go there is: Start - Control Panel(Classic View) - Network Connections - Right click on your connection(LOCAL AREA CONNECTION OR WIRELESS) - Properties - TCP/IP - PROPERTIES.
OR
If you have an internet icon in the bottom right(2 computers) you can double click on it and go to properties.
Ok in simpleton terms:
NAT - Allows you to have multiple computers/private addresses identifying you on the internet as a single address.
DHCP - Part of the software on your router. This is what gives you your IP address for your computer.
If you're under a private address such as 192.168.X.X, then renewing your DHCP license WILL NOT DO A THING. The NAT translates all computers IP address to a single address. Changing your PC IP address will not effect what the blizzard servers see.
Now I couldn't see this technique being that effective in most cases. If you have a large pool of IP addresses that the DHCP can assign to you. Then I suppose it might work. If you're being a NAT, this lil tutorial would not be effective.
Equinox - Making a random static IP address, unless properly done, won't allow you to use the internet anymore. If you already have an IP address manually entered, don't touch it. If you receive your IP addresses automatically, don't worry about it. The DHCP will give you a new IP address that works.
If you release your IP address. Remember to RENEW it back.
