Something Big is coming. No book will be big enough to link half the internet.. it is most def. something along the lines of Diablo III the game, and it could be a teaser or something to prepare everyone for Diablo III's announcement in June at the WWI.
What makes me wonder is.. Blizzard really can't do the whole Starcraft II type of announcement.. because then everyone would know it's Diablo III this time.. it has to be a HUGE surprise!.. and maybe this is the start of it!
My main concern is Smite - No way Ever should a shield move hit 100% of the time and stun. Smite should maybe give you increased attack rating, but even then it should imo hit 60% of the time when you are geared for it, and well, Stuns should Never work on the Prime Evils.. I mean come on.. maybe add some crazy diminishing returns if they can stun the Prime Evils. Smite IMO ruined the ubers since you are suppose to need a group.
Once Smite has been fixed, you will need people to do the ubers now with a group of players, and since each player = makes it harder.. it only makes sense to make each player that was involved with killing the ubers to each get an unidentified torch... not just one so someone can ninja it.
Enigma was kind of weird also.. everyone can teleport, and that imo completely watered down the whole game. They need to remove Teleport from it and add something else to balance that item, and the game overall.
So many classes still need fixing... this patch better gix a good amount of stuff!
They don't add new content with every ladder. The new content comes with major patches. It's just convenient for them to install a new patch and restart the ladder at the same time because that way everyone has to start over under the new patch.
Yeah - I sure hope that this patch adds a little bit of content and class adjustments so they can reset the ladder.
Lots of people hope for this I think, and it would just rock! I really hope they reset the ladder though. Is there any proof that they could possible reset the ladders before 2 years?
I remember hearing that Adria the witch, from Diablo I, was rumored to give a quest in a new patch. I'm sure it's all bologna, but it's fun to imagine...
Yeah, I heard that too. I heard that she is in the first zone outside the city in Act 4 by the trapped souls.
Just FYI, over at Blizzplanet, Castaway Entertainment has closed its operations. When the guys that founded Castaway were working @ Blizz North they were working on an unannounced upcomming sequel(i base this off the following).
Stefan Scandizzo was working on 3D monsters for an UNANNOUNCED UPCOMMING SEQUEL!! (although that could also be the other d2 expansion that is now "dead"), it still makes me wonder even more lol.
Stefan Scandizzo
Stefan joined Blizzard Entertainment in 1998 as a level designer. While at Blizzard, he developed key functional elements for Diablo II’s random maze generation and also created much of the dungeon layouts using both his artistic and programming skills. He continued his level designing in Diablo II’s expansion: Lord of Destruction . In 2000, Stefan started producing 3D monsters for the character team for an unannounced upcoming sequel.Stefan worked for Blizzard for five years.
(The Upcoming Sequal was Diablo II: Salvation)
Rick Seis
Richard is an industry veteran with more than 11 years of experience on over 6 shipped titles with Blizzard Entertainment. Since starting in 1994 with Condor, Inc. (which later became Blizzard North), he has held positions of Programmer, Senior Programmer, Lead Programmer, Director of Technology, and Studio Lead. Richard has worked on titles for the Game Boy, Game Gear, Genesis, and the PC, but his real affection lies with the Diablo universe. He was a primary contributor in creating the Diablo universe and its subsequent games - Diablo, Diablo II, and Diablo II: Lord of Destruction – which have sold in the 10’s of millions of units. Before leaving Blizzard, Richard held the position of Studio Lead on an unannounced project.
(The Unannounced Project was Diablo III before they had to redo it)
I agree, they may be taking time.. but now we know it is not just a n-cd patch... they are probably throwing in a few acts to kind of make it more obvious of a sequal or something.. it's gonna be great!

Yeah, there is no way it is just a no-CD patch. They are updating Something to bring us into the storyline for Diablo III - I can just feel it.
Yeah, I heard that too. I heard that she is in the first zone outside the city in Act 4 by the trapped souls.
jk
Oh yeah, true lol - Maybe they will get gossip and lore speeches in the patch!!!
They had voices, lol go back and check!
