Jarulf's Guide! I totally forgot about that. Thanks Rykker.
I feel that the save system in Diablo 1 was a bit too abusable, case in point being the shrines. On the other hand, it sped up the process of re-rolling items from Adria.
Hey LOD, thanks for explaining. That means that is isn't entirely useless to use scrolls when you've got the skill at a high lvl.
I also realized that the elixirs only heal in Hellfire, so I'm sorry that I didn't add that.
For shrines, I always save before I activate them and look at the effect. If I don't like it, then I reload. Don't you just love the saving system in D1
So I've been playing Diabo 1 again and I have three questions. One refers to an in-game mechanic, and two are community questions.
When casting a spell from a scroll or staff, what it the level of that spell?
Let's assume you have sufficient magic/vitality to withstand the forces of Hell, but they are not maxed yet. If you have an elixir of magic/vitality, do you use it as a full mana/healing potion?
- I do, by the way.
Do you use save/load to discover the contents of Goat Shrines/Cauldrons in Single Player?
- Once again, I don't have a problem with that.
