My reason would be that I highly doubt Belial is THAT good - especially concerning Adria and Aidan's matchup with Diablo not seeing it, and then later being able to trick Tyrael. Lastly, I have the general feeling that the Black Soulstone was never destroyed (at least "properly"), which would essentially just send all the Greater Evils right back in the game.
I find it totally believable that Belial could fool Diablo. Just as Diablo could scare Belial. Tyrael on the other hand does need some explanation, which I provided in the video description.
So his ultimate plan was to send all the other evils back to hell and be the only evil on sanctuary? With the defeat of Diablo at the end all 7 evils would then go back to hell, but you claim only 6. This is then assuming that A2 Belial wasnt really Belial at all, correct? We do see him get added to the black soulstone after all. Im just a bit confused at the end and what his "ultimate plan" is.
Yes, I am saying that the Belial that we fought in act 2 is a lieutenant of his guised as him. We see a soul added to the black soulstone. I have no idea what Belial's master plan is, assuming my theory is correct. Could be to become the prime, could be something else.
Personally I agree with the timeline and how adria plays out, but with one big difference. I think Adria is (or controlled by) Lilith, Mother of Deceit, and not Belial.
I like the Lilith theories. I'm curious about your post though. I have never heard that title associated with Lilith. Is it her actual title or a fan title?
This is a theory I might have been able to get behind, but some of it just doesn't sit right with me.
To start, I'm wondering how Belial could have influenced Tyrael to destroy the Worldstone. Magic? Remember, we're talking about the Archangel of Justice himself here.
I am not sure what the power hierarchy looks like for all of creation, but I would guess that a Great Evil and an Archangel of the Angiris Council are equally as powerful. Under normal circumstances, perhaps this could not have happened. However, at the time of the Worldstone's destruction, Tyrael had been spending much time on Sanctuary, which may have begun clouding some of his angelic power and authority. Belial on the other hand, had a full anchor to the realm and had so for about 2 years. By this time Belial had just enough power over Tyrael to influence him.
I also explained how El'druin could pierce the Worldstone in the video description. I think I will add something about this too.
Regardless though, thanks for your kind words
