ah and this 1.0.7 patch will make ppl want to pick up rares once again just to salvage that utter garbage for crafting materials, therefore they will try to achieve best correlation between standard farming efficiency and rare count, worth adding
I've found some unintended behaviour(i guess): when you check "Compact" and then "Statistics", the input area renders empty - it would be better to disable compact mode while viewing statistics but returning to it properly after unchecking "Statistics", just making "Compact" gray or something while displaying stats, it makes no sense displaying so much empty space if you can fill it
btw: having other things being calculated as well makes XP calculation not mandatory, imagine 100 paragon character that's interested only in calculating their Legendaries/h (some moldran, kingkongor or any other maxed out farmer), also if you could get their attention it would bring you a flood of feedback from their communities ^ ^
you can make a combo box on top of statistics from which ppl will choose if it's either "gold statistics", "experience statistics", "legendary statistics", "elitepacks killed statistics", "Demonic essences statistics"(from 1.0.7)
for input you can add a couple of check boxes on the left which will expand these sections (and only these that are checked will appear on combo box list in statistics section)
also calculating XP gain w/o applying XP bonuses from gear would lead to more accurate estimation of item farm efficiency - make it optional by filling "XP item bonus" box in input section
some ppl would also like looking at so called "data.txt" file directly to check their progress (if XP/h of each run was there), so adding chart (.NET chart control) AND/OR saving all data into .xls/.ods database-like spreadsheet instead of .txt file would be much better and easier to handle on the larger scale (with all these input data from idea above)
also regarding chart you could store a string that represents a run, for example "Alkaizer Run" or "Big6 Run" and then make each of them have their own colour on chart
similar to this (i didnt manage to add colour for each label though):
that's all from the ideas i gathered for 1.0.3 that are still not implemented yet, hope u'll make a good use of 'em !
Sadly I can't make it possible to be on top of full screen application at the moment. I didn't look too much into that but I think more complex solution will be needed for that like .dll injection. Might do it in the future if more people will want that. You can try to turn on/off Vertical Sync and hopefully it will fix some lags.
