Ok, so... as you all know, Umaro sold the domain name to Blizzard, which kinda pisses me off, seeing as he never consulted any of us. but, seeing as though he doesnt have to, and he probably made some money, im not gonna be mad about it.. althought it would have been nice to know
There seems to be a lot less ads though. Whether or not the ads return, I guess we shall see.

so yeah, back on topic, whats going to happen to us? maybe we could have our own little similar forum thing like what the mods have? or something? im not someone who is going to enjoy having 100 new members a day, things would get confusing and i would get mad and leave, which is what i will likely do when we get over populated... unless something is done to keep our little community that we had before the domain was bought, the same.
I'm not entirely against this idea. But I also am afraid of alienating newer members who may really have great things to contribute to the site, either in their artwork or even just their quality of posts. Everyone deserves a chance to establish themselves. And they should let their activity on the forums speak for itself.
And just because we have lots of new members with tons of posts already, this shouldn't be too much of an issue, except for the mods where we may not always get to cleaning up the amount of spam that we'd like to. The things is, it doesn't take long to develop a reputation around here. So you may have a particular person with over a 1,000 posts who has been here for not very long, but if their quality of posts aren't great, the members that you find worthwhile are likely to catch on to that as well. But I know some member who have maybe 200 posts, and whenever these people post, I pay really close attention to what they have to say because I know they usually don't post as much unless they have something really worthwhile to say. And that kind of reputation is far more valuable than number of posts. While others with tons of posts with rarely anything good to say, they're just kind of hurting their own reputations and ensuring that no one takes them seriously in the future; this also makes people typically skim over there posts anyway and get to the better ones.

oh, and the reason i put it in here, is mainly because most of the people that i care about and care for their opinion look in this section of the forums. plus, i didnt want to put another post into the stupid general discussion thread that is over filled with stupid conversation.
At any rate, perhaps you should give us an even clearer idea of what this section would be like and who would be able to participate in it.
