I'll have to agree, tastes defiantly change. Hell I loaded up D2 for the first time since D3 launched, and while I was full of nostalgia, I couldn't help but feel the game was lacking, a lot. I played D2 a ridiculous amount and it was a great game, but I don't have near as much fun with it now as I did back then. Blizzards decisions make sense to me with D3; They tried to bring back some of the fun of D2, but offer new and better ways to do a lot of things, because a huge portion of their fanbase has grown up. D3's awesome and I have a lot of fun with it, but I'm defiantly not devoting as much time to it as I thought I would, but that's probably because of my 50+ hour workweek lol =D
The feeling of finding great loot is still there tho, even with all you RMAH haters saying it's taken the fun out of it; Just found a 900 dps rare 1 hand xbow with a socket =D On par with my 1k dps crossbow with a socket, but faster =)
