"And apparently you are not aware of the countless Reptylian lives that were lost in the process of "freeing" us, if that's what you call it." he shot back, remembering the ancient texts that spoke of the collateral damage, the Reptylian soldiers forced into the front lines of battle, and of the thousands of slaves that were taken back to earth.
"At the end of the day, I can still take comfort in being equal with the rest of my race, Khete." he grinned as he spoke, hoping that this ancient word would have meaning to the Troskan soldier.
"I realize you are both so-called 'almighty warriors' but I have never heard of either of you. I also think that if you creatures were smart that you wouldn't be bickering now and would rather be preparing for the mission ahead." a man said from the other end of the table.
K'thanix simply glanced over, and bared his fangs before leaving the room, tired of the company he was with. Nobody had better have fucked with my bunk....

"One in every 10 million people can potentially have a headache from this pill." God forbid she is the 0.000000001% of having a headache.
"Boy, do you know who you are talking too?! You think you have all the expirence in the world, your fresh out of your mommas house! I've been fighting in wars since you were nothing more than a wet dream of your daddy! I'm the reason you were able to sleep at night knowing that your planet wasn't going to get blown to bits! So, I suggest you sit down and shut that ugly ass face of yours up before I blow it all the way back to that shit stain planet you came from!" He spun around, looking around the room to see which one of these men was dense enough to speak. He noticed the reddened face of one of the Troska, and stared him down.
"In my society, I never had a "momma", or a "house", I had a clan, and I killed for that clan since the day I was born. At least in my society, we keep the weak for slaves. Our young don't need to sell out to humans if they are born without our natural abilities. he sneered, hoping it stung the insolent Troska.
"You're people WERE the reason I could not sleep at night, I HAD TO KILL YOUR KIND TO DEFEND IT, AND I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO RESUME MY DUTIES AS EXECUTIONER IN THIS ROOM!" spittle flew from his fangs as he yelled, his scales turned a deep scarlet as his muscles flexed in anticipation of this man making the first move.
"You take that tone with me again boy, and your family will not find your remains."

"In my society, I never had a "momma", or a "house", I had a clan, and I killed for that clan since the day I was born. Which, by the way, was a much earlier date than yourself. In case you didn't know, Reptylians are longer lived than your pathetically fragile race." he scoffed, and remembered the days he spent defending his homeworld from these humans, spilling their blood in victory, and eating the remains of the hated interlopers.

K'thanix watched as one of the leaders explained the assignment, watched as he informed them of a vague reason as to why they were performing this task, where they would be going, and what it was that would be happening.
He would have preferred to stay quiet in the company of human whelps, but he could no longer hold his tongue.
"So... is that it? Is that all we are going on for this entire mission? Intelligence is key in a business such as this, I won't try to deny that I've played assassin before, and with this shabby level of pre-planning, you'll get every one of us killed. he said as he glared at the Troska, and quickly gazed around the room at the rest of the crew.
"From the looks of it, we'll need every advantage we'll get." he snapped, eyeing the armor and weapons of each man in the room.
Gadgets are no replacement for experience he thought to himself, he knew all too well that experience was the only thing you could truly rely on.

Finally finding the cargo hold, K'thanix stood along the wall, and readied himself for whatever ill fated adventure their leaders had planned for them.

K'thanix followed behind the main group, refusing to take part in this endless banter.
Useless rabble... how can they call themselves bounty hunters when they tell their entire life stories to one another. Secrecy is key in this business. He thought to himself in disgust, after letting out an audible sigh.
He doubted if any of these men had ever killed, ever been forced to murder for the gain of their superiors. In these several minutes, with the amount of information these men had unwittingly released about themselvs, K'thanix knew enough to track nearly every one of these "bounty hunters".
He sighed once more, wishing that these whelps had actually experienced life, wishing that he would not be trapped with them as they pursued some misguided sense of adventure.
Humans.... he spat on the ground, and made his way into the ship, and sat down in the crew's quarters, quickly reserving the bunk furthest away from the rest of the general rabble.
"Everybody on the ship, report back to the cargo area at the entrance of the ship for mission debriefing." a deep voice crackled over the intercom, and K'thanix slowly made his way to the cargo hold, wondering what their first assignment would entail.

Nearly drove that spike through my frontal cortex... K'thanix thought to himself, silently chuckling at the Largix who hadn't even noticed his presence.
He had become accustomed to remaining fairly camouflaged even in public places, it seemed that bounty hunters were always on his trail after the incident on Fauna. He cursed his chieftain's name, and glanced around the room.
He noticed the two men mentioned on the poster directly beside his head, watched as they sat waiting for people to apply for a spot. He mulled it over in his head, wanting to get out in the world despite the danger it posed to make himself known.
Well... more allies can never hurt, and surely the chief is not so daft as to send bounty hunters to find me, in the presence of other bounty hunters He concluded, grinning at the absurdity of his plan to remain hidden.
Oh well.... can't hide in the shadows forever He thought to himself, as he slowly melded his scales and trench coat to their natural, and artificial in the case of the coat's, black and purple hue.
He stepped forwards, wondering if the Largix would be shocked he did not see him before.
"Glad to see more non-human bounty hunters out there," Taking a seat and producing a small flask of Reptylian mead, he downed a mouthful before continuing on. "poster says you're in need of more men, I'm pretty useful when the occasion calls for espionage and secrecy."
He thrust his hand forwards to the Troskan figure.
"Name's K'thanix, most call me Specter, care to bring me aboard?"
