Oltu looked up to Dorf from the navigation seat as he entered the cockpit before he looked back as stars shot passed their ship.
"Hey Oltu, you worried about your frail body holding up against these Largix? They can be pretty tough." Dorf joked with Oltu.
"Don't worry, big man, I can hold my own quite well. The bigger they are, the bigger blood stain I get to leave on the ground when I crush their bodies," Oltu told Dorf chuckling under his breath.
As the massacre continues Oltu notices Dorf freeing captured humans from cages in on of the nearby huts. While leading them to safety another small girl runs out of a hut followed by three Reptylia. Venom attempts to kill the three Reptylia that are pursuing the girl, but she dies in the process, enraging Venom. A rage that Oltu has seen before. A devastating rage. Oltu turns to the group of Revenants as Venom is attacked by other Reptylia.
"We must leave now!" Oltu shouts to the group, "Lt. Venom is too dangerous. His rage only brings destruction and death to whoever he can reach. He'll be fine, but we must leave. Let's head back to the Ungaru tribe now."
Oltu turns with the rest of the Revenants behind him and they flee back to the Ungaru tribe as Venom murders the remaining Reptylia.
Oltu quickly entered the on going battle between the Revenants and the Reptylia of the Umbazi tribe. Reptylian body parts and blood were littered across the tribal grounds as more and more Reptylia fall to the hands of the Revenants. Oltu steps up holding his hands out in front of him toward the mass of Reptylia, feeling the energy course through his body as it turns into a weapon.
Quickly, Oltu diverts his hands toward one single Reptylia, focusing his energy on him. The Reptylia lifts from the ground before slamming his way through the front lines of the other Umbazi Reptylia, knocking several to the ground. As they stumble back to their feet, the large Reptylia flies back through them, knocking them back and down once more. Oltu releases his mental grip on the large Reptylia into the crowd, knocking more Reptylia down.
Looking over Oltu sees Venom standing, watching as more Reptylia close in on him, laughing. Oltu's hands lunge out, grabbing two Reptylia and throwing them into the air as the Reptylia around them stare unknowingly. Two more Reptylia fly away as Oltu's hands raise into the air again. They keep pushing their way toward Venom as Oltu tries to dilute the number of forces.
Oltu grabs two more, but he's forcefully thrown to the ground as the spikes from a Reptylia's tail rip from Oltu's side. Slowly making his way back to his feet, Oltu sizes up the enemy that attacked him. It's a medium build Reptylia, standing over Oltu, ready to attack again. As it's spiked tail come down upon Oltu like a hammer, Oltu pushes out his hand, stopping the attack. He jerks his hand upwards, flipping the Reptylia off its feet, landing it face first in the ground. Oltu releases his hold as it rises to one knee, ready to fight more, before lurching his hand out at the Reptylia. Oltu's hand slowly starts to close as the Reptylia cannot make his way to his feet under the intense crushing force of Oltu's power. Oltu's hand closes more and more as the Reptylia falls to the ground becoming smaller and smaller into the dirt. The sound of breaking and crushing bones is heard before Oltu's hand closes completely and the Reptylia is reduced to nothing more than a spec of what was life on the ground on the tribe. So brutal, but this must be done, Oltu thinks, before turning back to the main fight.
Oltu was thrown from his bed as the ship came to a crashing halt upon the surface of Fauna. Dorf's voice then came over the intercome, apologizing for their landing, but reassuring them of the new job at hand. Oltu stood up and stretched before slipping his robe back over his head. The door to his room slide open, revealing Dorf on the other side, who waved him to follow him.
Dorf and Oltu arrived on the Ungaru tribal grounds where they were then lead to their leader by two Reptylia. After Dorf and Oltu were informed about the leaders fears of the rival tribe before Dorf and the leader made agreements of payment. After terms were settled, Dorf and Oltu made their way back to their ship with a decent handful of Ungaru Reptylia to help them fight the rival tribe.
"Hopefully our ship wont need much repair," Oltu said to Dorf as they arrived back on their ship, "Why did we crash anyway? Could it be that some sensors are off?"
Oltu walks into the rainforest themed bar knowing that the yelling and ruckus had to be Dorf and the rest of the group. As he pushed back the vines that made up the door he sees Dorf throwing back 8 shots at once. He's not gonna be flying us anywhere tonight, Oltu thinks to himself,I hope I wont either when I'm done here too.
Oltu walks up to the table and sits down at one of the open chairs. Meth, a stowaway on board is finishing a vodka with a jagerbomb. The hippo waiter come back over to the table to serve Oltu.
"Start me off with a pint of your finiest beer and a glass of whiskey," Oltu tells the hippo waiter before it zooms off to get his drinks.
Oltu turns back to the table to hear Dorf leaving since he's spent all his money.
"Dorf, wait, you paid for the fuel, have a couple beers on me," Oltu tells him waving him back over as the hippo waiter puts Oltu's requests in front of him.
Oltu throws his head back and drinks the whiskey followed with sips from his beer.
"I would love to, Dorf, but I am in need of some much needed rest. Parital sleeping in the cockpit seats are not as comfortable," Oltu tell him, "After a bit of sleep, if you guys are still there, I'll head over and catch up with you,"
The Revenants' ship came into the atmosphere of New Earth, looking for a port to land at. The speed slowed and the ship landed on the docking bay of Port #3. The hatch opened and Oltu walked out, followed by Dorf and the rest of the new Revenants who stood at the open hatch of the ship alogn with the gang leader.
Oltu took a long deep breath of the crisp, clean New Earth air before speaking, "Alright, Dorf and I are going to go collect the reward purse. We want everyone to stay here while we get it. We should be back shortly and then everyone can roam freely, their pockets bulging. You," Oltu said pointing to the gang leader, "Come with us."
Oltu then looks to Dorf, "Let's go then," He said before they all walk off into the city.
Dorf and Oltu enter the busy city, buzzing with machines and bursting with the talk of the people. The streets are crowded with people as the flying cars zoom overhead. Buildings, standing at least a hundred stories tall, tower over the city, ripping into the sky. The three of them continue their walk down the street to, pushing through the people to make it to their reward.
After several minutes of walking through the crowded streets, they arrive at a very luxurious mansion, gaurded by thugs and gang members.
"You there, what is your business here?" One of the thugs asks them.
"We're here on official business. We're here to see The Boss," Oltu replies.
"What is said business?" The thug asks again.
"I think it's above your need-to-know," Oltu told the thug, "Plus we have the gang leader from Old Earth. A special request of The Boss."
"Hmm," The thug thought for a second, looking over the gang leader, "I do reconize this man. Come on in, I'll show you to his chambers."
The thug lead the three of them into the mansion and up a flight of stairs, which ended with a lavish closed door. The thug knocked and a voice was heard from the other side, telling them to enter. The thug opened the door and waved them in, closing the door behind them. The room was full of extra furniture that lined the walls of the his chambers. Comfy looking sofas on either sides with a desk at the end of the room, where The Boss sat looking over papers.
"Ah, good to see you back Oltu," The Boss said looking up from his papers at the three of them, "And with the him I see."
"Yes, it wasn't as easy of a task as we had thought it was going to be. Maybe a little more pay should be added in," Oltu told The Boss.
"Well, you're already getting the extra pay for returning him to me," The Boss said, pointing to the gang leader, "Surely, you wouldn't want more."
"But we do. We get there and are attacked by zombies. Not just a couple, but hundreds of zombies. Then gang members are trying to steal our ship with our return. Which leads up to the mechanical T-rex that almost swallow one of us whole," Oltu told The Boss as his blood began to boil.
"Wow. That does sound kind of troublesome. However, none of that is my problem," The Boss told him tossing him two decently sized bags of money, "One is for the talisman and one is for the gang leader, which both will be handed over to me now."
"How much do you value his life?" Oltu asks The Boss, before pulling out his energy dagger and holding it to the gang leader's throat, "Now, that money. We will be taking it, or I will be taking his life."
"You think I care about him?" The Boss asks, "I can easily have another person appointed to that position," The Boss said before turning around grabbing a gun from his desk, pointing it at Oltu, "Now, free him, or you die."
With Oltu's free hand he pushed it toward The Boss then to the left, forcing The Boss flying hard into the wall. He laid their unconscious as Oltu put his energy dagger away and walked over to The Boss's desk. Oltu quickly searched the desk, with no avail. He flipped a sofa, revealing a safe door that leads into the floor. Oltu placed his fingers on the door and ripped it off the hinges that held it on. Inside was a large bag of money that Oltu lifted out of the safe, sizing it up.
"Looks like we got a good find," Oltu said smiling at Dorf, before looking to the gang leader "You can stay here and make sure that any of his men aren't following us. Otherwise, I'll come back here and kill you myself."
"I don't think that we'll be able to come back to here for anymore jobs Dorf," Oltu said as they walked out of the chambers on their way back to the ship with two decent sized bags of money and one large bag of money.
Dorf and Oltu arrived back to the ship where the rest of the Revenants sat waiting for their return. They walked into the ship and divided the money up equally between all of them.
"Two things. One, we have our first job under our belt and our pockets now fuller. Two, we wont be able to get any more jobs, as Dorf and I ran into a little trouble when getting extra money for the difficulty of the mission. Don't worry though, we'll have more missions to do in time. Now head out and do what you need to do," Oltu told the group before heading to his chambers for some much need rest.
Oltu had unknowingly boarded the ship after the completion of their mission, as he had down hundreds of times before. As the rest of the group made their way on board Oltu headed toward the cockpit, following Dorf, while the rest tended to their needs.
Oltu took his seat in the cockpit, as the navigator and Dorf took his, as the pilot. The intercom ding came over the ship as Dorf made an announcement of a job well done and welcoming everyone to the Revenants. A sigh of relief came over Oltu at the sound of the news, Another reliable team of bounty hunters, he thought while keying in the coordinates of New Earth into the holographic console in front of him. Dorf finished his announcement in time for the coordinates to pop up on his screen before turning on the autopilot.
"A job well done and soon money in our pocket," Oltu said looking to Dorf, "But the best of it all, we have the Revenants active and it only means the better," he finshed leaning back in the seat with a smile across his face.
With news that their ship was being stolen Oltu pushed his way through the zombies to get there as the ground started to rumble and break. A giant metal plated T-Rex broke through the crust of the earth with an ear shattering roar causing everyone to flee, gang members and zombies alike, leaving only the bounty hunters left to fight. To Oltu's suprise, Venom had already come back with the gang leader and Dorf was helping him on board the ship. Once on the ship, Dorf was quick to be back into the battle, jumping into the mouth of the already weakened T-Rex.
Blindside and Venom had taken advantage of the T-Rex's weak point by shotting it's eyes. Soon after Dorf had been freed of the tightening T-Rex's mouth by John, it fell to it's death with one more simple armor piercing round from Blindside. Hmm, a foe who seemed to be unbeatable was just beat within matter or seconds, Oltu thought to himself, having done nothing to assist, Peculiar.
Oltu then channeled his energy at a half destroyed building next to the T-Rex, until the building split from it's base. The spliting metal of the building's frame rang out in the calm after the battle as it came crashing down on the T-Rex's body, filling the air with dust and debris.
"Just want to make sure," Oltu said light-heartedly.
While the killing proceeds, the crackle from his radio is barely heard through the slaughtering. Oltu picks up the reciever, listening to the voice on the other side.
"Oltu, did you get my talisman," the voice said over the radio.
"Yes, but we ran into a minor problem down here. The people seem to be infected with something," Oltu replies into radio.
"What?!" the voice exclaims. "Look, I'm getting a distress call from the Old Earth leader of the Jerupe gang. Find him and help him."
"I don't think you understand," Oltu yells back into the reciever, "We're kind of stuck here, we can't move much,"
"I don't care, find a way and do it. There will be another reward for you," the voice says to Oltu's enlightenment.
"Fine," Oltu says putting the reciever back on his belt, then looking to Venom in the tree, "Venom, I need you to go do a recon for me. The leader of the Jerupe gang is in trouble. Find him and bring him back to the ship safely, he shouldn't be to far from here. Go now!" Oltu shouts to Venom, before turning back to the massacre.
The stand off battle erupt into a massacre of the beasts, as Oltu starts taking focus on his targets. With a quick push of his hands outward and toward the sky, several beasts fly uncontrolably into the air landing multiple feet away. Another push outward by Oltu's hand forces a small group of the masses backwards before he grabs two of them singularly. As Oltu's hands move around in front of him, the monstrosities mirrior the movement through the air. With a rapid gesture, Oltu forces his hands down, slamming the two into the ground, turning them into blood stains. Oltu grabs two more, slamming them into the side of a far off building. He grabs one more and slams him around throughout the group of beasts knocking several of them over, before slamming it into the ground also.
Oltu was abrutly awoken by a slap in the chest from the large Largix.
"Hey, get up" Dorf shouted over to Oltu. "We're almost there."
Oltu rubbed his eyes and took a quick look out of the cockpit windows to see that the ship was landing on the surface of Old Earth. Time to get geared up, Oltu thought before heading for the cargo hold as Dorf's announcement came over the intercom.
Other people slowly made their way into the cargo hold ready for their mission at hand. Dorf briefed the group again on the tactics of the mission, being defensive, before opening the doors and walking out. Oltu was quickly behind Dorf, followed by the rest of the group.
"Hold your fire men," Dorf shouted back to the group.
Oltu could barely make out the man that was running up to them or what he was screaming about. After the man explained himself, Dorf tossed him aside, ready to pursue their mission further. Bite us? Eat us? the words circled in Oltu's head, Can't be true.
"Alright everyone, our source tells us that the talisman is due east of here, so follow me," Oltu yells to their group, leading them east.
As they approached the boarder of the gangs village the group slows their run to a creeping walk, ready for anything. An eerie feeling comes over Oltu as no one is seen around the village. What is going on here? Why is there no one here? They've got to be out in a gang war. But take the whole gang? Oltu thought to himself, searching the area for a sign of life.
Regardless, the group pushed on through the village until their arrival on the talisman, which was resting on a worn desk in a run down building. Oltu's quickly graps it and puts it in a pocket that is on his robe.
"Well then," Oltu says aloud to the group, "That was suprisingly easy,"
Oltu and the group walk outside the building to finally see people running toward them. As they draw closer and closer it becomes apparent that these are not normal people. Their flesh seems to be falling off their bones, their eyes filled with blood and their ravaging mouths snapping open and closed at the sight of the group.
"Get ready for battle, men! We're not dealing with normal people, there's something about these ones!" Oltu shouts across the group as the running monstrosities draw ever nearer, hungering for death.
Oltu's sat watching as the colors of open space flew passed the cockpit as the yelling that filled the cargo hold had dispersed. Dorf stopped by the cockpit to double check that everything was still set to their course before leaving. The smell of the wings still on Dorf waved into the cockpit making Oltu's stomach grumble. Food, that would sound really good right now. Maybe when we get this job done I'll get some, he thought to himself as the remaining smell left the cockpit.
A silence came over the cockpit allowing Oltu's mind to be lost in the beautiful colors once more. His mind drifted deeper into the past memories of his various teams of bounty hunters.
----------
"I still think we should go for it. Those studies are all bullshit," spoke a very armed human.
"I've looked at their details, talked to reliable sources, we should not do this," Oltu told him.
"We have no choice," he replied walking back to the controls of their ship.
"Please, don't do this," Oltu pleaded once more, but to no avail of the human.
With a quick jerk their ship started descending upon a planet that started to come into view through the cockpit windows. The red glow from the planet filled the cockpit as they drew closer and closer to the it. The entire ship started to rattle uncontrollably.
"You're loosing her!" Oltu yelled over top the noise of their ship.
"We can make it!" the human yelled back forcing the controls forward.
The console lights of their ship started to flicker before turning completely dark. The glass that was once their window shattered and pieces of their ship started to tear off as they descended to the planet.
"NO!!" Oltu shouted as he crossed his arms and closing his eyes before disappearing into nothing.
----------
Oltu awoke startled from his dream as he wiped the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand, breathing deeply.
"Not again," Oltu said catching his breath and leaning back in the seat.
"...you'll get every one of us killed." K'Thanix said, stopping Oltu in his tracks, "From the looks of it, we'll need every advantage we'll get."
"How dare you. Do you know who I am?" Oltu asked him, "I am Oltu Trysk a notorius bounty hunter of all the galaxies. My instructions of our mission is not to be judged. I have planned plenty of mission just as easy as this one, most missions have been ten times more difficult than this one. Do not judge me, my men, or my leadership when you clearly do not know."
Oltu turned in disgust at K'Thanix's judgement of him and how he leads the group of bounty hunters, headed for the cockpit again.

"Get ready for battle, men! We're not dealing with normal people, there's something about these ones!" Oltu shouts across the group as the running monstrosities draw ever nearer, hungering for death.
