All you really need to do in that kind of situation is make sure you read all the posts and figure out where everyone is. After you understand that you can write your character into any area or skirmish of your choosing. Just make sure you make it clear that you either arrived, or had been there for a while. And for heaven's sakes, don't mention seeing someone if they aren't anywhere near you.
Well, it looks complicated when I write it all out like that, but really it's easy.
Elfen, seeing as how things have gotten fairly confused and people are separated feeling like they can't post I have a suggestion.
For the next section of the story you should make different threads for each seperate quest. That way we can keep things a little more organized and won't have to jump around storywise.
Also, Alpha, Jetrall, Silver, and Sofa, if you don't want your characters left behind find a way to get back with the rest of the story. Although it was an entertaining read (I did enjoy it by the way) you should generally wait for the Dungeon Master to make quests. We're done in Dun Craig, just be patient for Elfen to get us on track for the next section. If you guys take too long you'll get left behind.
That's fine too, I just wanted to nip this in the ass before it got too out of hand. Battles between two characters are probably the most important when it comes to this sort of thing though.
You wouldn't want me to post anything like: Jetrall ran toward Mantis only to be impaled upon Mantis's sword. There are exceptions, but in order to keep things simple it's a general rule not to make someone elses character do something.
Okay, I just noticed this so I wanted to mention it. If you are posting it's common curtesy not to play another person's character unless permission has been given. Alpha and Zubin have done it a few times now. Normally I wouldn't care too much, but since the story has gotten so mucked up I thought I'd mention it.
Do you guy's know what I mean or do you want an example? Also, for the record, if anyone plays my character without permission I'll ignore your post.
I didn't mean the tower, I meant the attitude overall. He seems like he doesn't care, and is a badass. Which is fine, just got on my nerves a bit.
Do you mean me or my character? If you mean me, I was just trying to encourage Zubin, didn't mean to sound like a dick.
If you mean my character Mantis, it's part of his personality to be very flashy with what he does, since he's a Swashbuckler. It's bound to get him into trouble down the road though...
Okay, sorry for the long post I just did. Hopefully everyone will read it as Mantis did something really cool, if a little reckless.
SPOILER for those of you too lazy to read what I wrote. Basically Mantis crashed a heavily loaded pallet into a crumbling tower accross from it causing the tower to fall on a ton of demons. Still not sure if any good guys got crushed though...
I can slay vampires and werewolves as well (not that they will appear often) and i have unmatched speed hehe, sometimes suddenly. I also have my powerful slayer darklaw with me.
I feel special, hehe.
Feel special all you want, but remember to keep it balanced Zub-zub. We're all suposed to be relatively weak at the beginning of the story. Give your character some time to develope some skills and evolve, otherwise you'll probably loose interest in the rp down the road. Not to mention it's not fair to be too powerful too quickly.

If you read all the posts like you're supposed to you'd know that Mantis was going there too. I don't like feeling left out...
