So I played through the game for the second time on Normal up until I go down to Char, getting all the Normal achievements. Then I went back through again on hard in the same playthrough, getting all the Hard achievements. And now I have too much money. I averaged $170K from each mission, allowing me to buy literally everything with tons to spare.
Why did Blizzard implement that kind of functionality? It doesn't make sense that you can get all that extra money. What's the point of choosing upgrades and having to pick if you can get it all?
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

When it came time to choose the Science Vessels in the lab I actually went with that other vessel (forgot its name).
Raven. Since I already knew that one was available in the mutliplayer, I went ahead and picked the Science Vessel instead. I definitely think it was the better choice, at least for my play style.
And is there no map editor in this game? One of my favorite past times used to be making SC maps to play on.
Oh there's a map editor. I've only had a look through it, placing stuff and such, but from what I can tell it is tremendously more advanced and complex. Gone are the days where you just created a unit from scratch in 1 minute by basing it off something else. But the sheer amount of stuff you can edit now... suffice to say, there will probably be some very badass custom maps released over the years.

Pretty much agree here. While I'm not against the Xel'naga thing all that much, the whole ending could have been more believe, or at the very least gritty. It got a little too fluffy and nice there at the end.
The missions were fun and really dynamic and I enjoyed the narrative and everything, but sometimes I wanted just to sit back and build huge armies and have big battles with 200 of my guys against 200 of theirs.
There were a couple missions like this though like the ones where I have to upload the old Mengsk recording on the Dominion broadcast towers. But that missions was way to easy for Normal and I conquered all the enemy bases easily.
Shatter the Sky was like that as well. Maw of the Void (where you get Battlecruisers for the first time) was a little like it. But yeah, overall most of the missions had a clear timetable you had to follow. Unorthodox I'd say, wbut very nicely pulled off.
So right now I'm kind of screwing around on the player versus AI single player games. I'm a little upset cause I can't train Specters, I have to settle for Ghosts. And can I really not train Medics? I just couldn't believe it. I was playing a skirmish game against the computer and the Zerg slaughtered me. And all those fun upgrades and research I got in the campaign (such as the awesome regenerative metal tech) I no longer have any access too. Meeeee!!!
And Science Vessels! I'll never be able to play mech as Terran without the awesome healing powers of the Science Vessel.

was that when you did the protoss missions they said that they needed her to survive. well why then would you still save her? like. wouldnt making her back into human lose control of the zerg? it just confused me why they didnt tie that up with the main story.
Technically they only said she mustn't die, not that she had to be turned back human. But her remaining the Queen of Blades wouldn't exactly have worked very well either. So I guess that's kind of´an unforeseen turn of events. I guess they'll just have to wing it from here on

For instance, Kerrigan is supposedly purged of the zerg infection, yet, if you look you'll see that her hair is still all tentacles, leaving me wondering if it is only a temprary relief sort of thing for her or they can get together with Jim finally.
As far as I know, Heart of the Swarm will revolve around Kerrigan still controlling the Zerg somehow. The reason she was the key to standing against the Xel'Naga had to be because she controlled the Swarm, what else could it be? So if saving her meant she lost control of the zerg, it would still be the end of all things. Which just doesn't make sense.
