Hey had some RL stuff to take care of and haven't been around to update this - I ended up getting into the beta on a late wave, didn't get much of a chance to play - willing to share with someone (someone I know/trust who posts often, if you're new and I don't know you don't PM me about it ;p).
Send me a message, first come first serve. If you change my password, well, there's a secret question for a reason >:[
heh 2 things its almost over and i think it is against blizz/dfans tos to share accounts. (transfer)
There's another week or so. And I know it's against the TOS, I just assume you won't tell on me >.>

And while I partly agree Zhar, the beta is a free program and nobody loses money over a crack for it, but just so everybody stops skirting the rules stop talking about playing the cracked beta.
Yeah I'd heard it's more for seeing how B'Net reacts to all the users, and balancing. I still can't get past the black screen and I have to restart my computer since it completely locks.
Yeah Jake, it's about something free, should be fine. Honestly the reason I want to try this Sandbox mode, or any other *beta* crack (not retail, beta) is because there are people playing right now, and I want to be one of them. I'd like to see how my computer handles the game, what I can do with the in-game options, etc. I think it's silly the way the beta invites have been handled. I don't like having to rely on dumb luck in order to get into the beta for a game I'm interested in, when all these WoW players get keys and go "durrrr Starcraft came out 10 years ago why's it in beta" like my friend did. It'll be the same when the Diablo 3 beta is launched. Nobody will talk about it, but a lot of people will try to get a crack for it (this is beta, not retail) because it's "unfair somebody else gets to play and I don't" to quote the B.Net forums.
Guys, i just got my hands on this thing... You can play sc2 just by yourself, i mean no opponent, no ai, you just start with a random race and you can do whatever you like. Its like a "Sandbox". So google it if you wanna mess with some sc2 units
Gave it a shot but my client locks up, gets to the black screen and the SC2 cursor then nothing, gotta ctrl alt delete it. Makes no sense.
Beta keys aren't covered by the rules, no, unless it becomes an issue somehow; however, CD keys, third party software, hacks, dupes, and other violations of the EULA's are.
So this thread isn't against the rules but it brushes pretty close?
Just let me know if it's a problem and it'll be removed. Thread exists pretty much so those who want beta and have no key maaaaybe get a chance to play, thanks to those who get a key and don't want to play.
Also, that friend I mentioned before? When I asked after his B.net account I got this response: "What do you mean "beta key"? Starcraft's been out for ages." There are those who don't even know of its existence, disregard the key in the inbox, and load up WoW again, just as my friend would have if he'd gotten one before I got to him ;p
The thread's an hour old ;p and I don't think it's overly likely that someone will give a key to anyone instead of selling it, but it doesn't hurt to try. I'll add you to the list?
But I am pretty sure that everyone who was going to be sent a key has already received it.
Not by a long shot, there's like 3000 people in the beta so far and there were 20,000 keys given out at Blizzcon. Beta keys will be going out every week (or few weeks), at least that's what's assumed. Keys went out first day, then more people have gotten them each day since.
Figured I'd make this post. There are a lot of people on the forums, and I'm going to assume most of you have a Battle.Net account since we're here for Blizzard games. Starcraft 2 beta has launched, and keys are being sent to random people, some of whom who have no intention of playing. I myself am opted in, as is my brother and a friend of mine - if my brother or that friend get a key, they're going to give it to me since neither wants it. If I then get a second key through my opt in, I'll post here and give it to someone who wants to play but got no key.
So basically everyone who opted in, wants to play Starcraft 2, but didn't get a key, post here and say so and I'll add you to the list. If there is anybody who did get a key and has no intention of using it or selling it to someone, choose a name from the list and PM them

Starting to feel that way too.
