those tips are for power leveling only. I followed them with my first character (every time) and on the alts i took it slow and enjoyed the stories behind the quests (that in most cases i hadnt paid attention while leveling the main).
I know the hardcore playas will be on top first. But it would be cool to see the hardcore playas waitin about...Waiting a LONG time to get to max level SAme in d3 I dont want the people who get the game first just to be done overnight and come ruin it for the people who cant leap out of the hosue with cash in there hands screaming "DIABLO THREE DIABLO THREE DIABLO THREE DIABLO THREE DIABLO THREE" Then driving home at eighty miles an hour takin down anyone in the path with the window down screamin "DIABLO THREE DIABLO THREE MUST PLAY DIABLO THREE MUST MUST PLAY IT AHHHHHHHHH"
hehe, that would be a fun thing to watch
but both in Diablo and in WoW, the real game starts after you defeat the final boss (or reach the level cap).
its supposed to take for 70-80 about the same time as it did for 60-70. My guess would be that within a few days the first hardcore players will be 80, within the first week more will come.
jewelcrafting works very well with mining too. even though its a little hard to level at first (even mininig is a bit harder than say herbalism) they add alot profit later on. Since its going to be the main character of yours, you could easily get some of the best designs that only drop in instances.
as said, the Barrens is where the Horde grows strong.
After that there are quite a few quests in Taren Mill.
Can also move to Thousand Needles till around 30.
Stranglethorn Vale can get you up to 45+.
Tanaris up to 50 (together with Blasted Lands), Un'Goro Crater after that.
By then you should be able to do easy quests to level 58 (Eastern/Western Plaguelands, Silithus).
i strongly recommend instances afer you're 59-60 (aka in Outland). The loot is great and in many cases will help you till 70 in many roles (say tanking or healing gear depending on the class).
