It's not about what it can (so can StarCraft), but about what it does, and to what proportions. Certainly more people that play WoW have forgotten their boring real lives and departed into the virtual world than those playing Diablo.
That is most likely true yes. But the way I see it is if they want to play the game that much, and do not leech off of society in doing so, let them.

God dude, youre such a douchebag.
No one cares what you have to say because youre a little prick who lives off of his Mom's money and in her basement.
If no one cares, then there would be no point in pointing it out, since everyone would already know. Since you are doing exacly that however, you at least must care.
You also apparently have no clue how to argue any cause at all.
Fingol knows how to argue, but you however do not it appears. Not in the true sense of the word. Argue does no mean that you defeat your opponent or attack him.
you are SO REDUNDENT that a 5 yeear old could predict what you have to say. you need to learn how to make a point, and or how to speak properly in the first place.
So that is why you wrote in caps and spelled both redundant and year wrong, and missed out on capitalization?
You can like WoW if you want, but the point still remains that the fractions of people put together still play other games more then WoW. the statistics are basing on how many people play WoW- but what about how many people DONT?
Of course there are more people out there that don't play WoW. Such is the case with every game out there. And since every game is in the same boat and shares the same situation, it isn't relevant.
Add up all the other games with millions of players- they all come out to easily double, maybe triple WoW's players. And as Ive said before, people play games because theyre freinds play- let me see your statistics where people gave a reason for why they play a game.
If people continue to play the game, it is a success. If people only play it because of their friends, then Blizzard has succeded in actually getting people that don't like it to play.
why not stop preying on people who have a point and start BEING one of the people who have one...I can see now why you play WoW, you must have a vast imagination, as you have proven in this conversation by making up imaginary points. FUCKING NERD.:D
I have seen no imaginary point from Fingol. Could you please be so kind as to point them out for me?

Ok I see what you're saying. But, if you say that all Blizzard games are easy, and say WoW is boring because it is easy, then logically Diablo is also boring isnce it's easy. And if that's not true, as you said:
"all blizzard games are easy.It doesnt mean they arent fun"
Then why are you using that as a argument against WoW?

Ok.
What is the name of the final boss in Molten Core?
What kind of enemies can you encounter in Molten Core? What is the name of the final boss in Blackwing Lair and what is he trying to achieve?
I find it hard to believe you because if you think raiding is easy then I cannot understand how you can think of Diablo as challenging. Please explain.

It is not mindless clicking, it is not sleeping over the keyboard clicking the mouse. It is spending several hours in a dungeon actively working with 40 other people to take down extremely challenging bosses. If you have done that, and still consider the game easy, then fine. If you haven't, then your argument falls.

Yes, buy WoW before it is too late. Join all the other addicts now.
I've lost count of all players I've read of on the forums that unistall the game and broke their disks, only to run out the next day to buy a new copy because they had to play. And all those guys who aim for grand marshal/high warlord... insane. Those are the highest PvP ranks, and the guy on my server had his account logged in constantly for the last three weeks before he reached there, switching his playing time with some friends. Just insane.
So WoW is easy? I'd like to hear you say that when your newly formed guild tries Molten Core for the first time, try to take down Razorgore or enter Ahn'Qiraj. Do that, and then tell me the game is easy.
And WoW was made cartoonish for a specific purpose. All the games have been like that thus far, and to make a realistic orc would just have ruined the entire race, as would gnomes, trolls and numerous other races.

Yup. Listen to the one above me. All points have been presented already in other threads.
But man, it was long since I played WoW. I don't recognize those shoulder-pads, but they must obviously be good since you switched Netherwind for them. Are they from Naxxramas?

It is perfectly possible to compare them, but no one is going to agree. I think WoW is a great game, and you do not. And that is about as far as we will ever get.

All good items you have to be high-level? Isn;t that how it works in almost every RPG out there, Diablo included?
I personally think that the Blood Elves and Draenei look good, but the story behind them is a mess.

I am ust going to say one thing. Why would 6 million people, most of them adults (the average age in WoW is 33 years old of close to it), buy it if it was a crappy game? And why would they continuously pay more than 200$ on it?

Ohoh, I'm getting a bad-feeling about this. Hopefully though everybody is tired of these discussions by now.

We are really just asking you one question:
Have you played in an end-game raid?
