I've looked at that AOC you're talking about. Price seems good, but how impressed are you with it? It doesn't have any led backlit. So far as far as quality and value are concerned I'm still leaning toward teh Acer 27 led backlit.
I went from a great HP 22" Monitor that had awesome specs to this AOC 27" A friend of mine wanted the HP 22", so I gave it to him for $50 bucks then I bought the 27" that I've been eyeing for a while. It was just good timing... overall I love this monitor. I play games on it and I do photo editing, so that's my experience as far as quality of picture... for the price I really think it's one of your best options. I know the Acer 27" is very good too though... I think either one you will be happy. Just whatever you prefer.
Cracoder here are the minimum requirements for D3:
Windows® XP/Vista/7 (latest service packs) with DX 9.0c
Intel Pentium® D 2.8 GHz or AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 4400+
NVIDIA® GeForce® 7800 GT or ATI Radeon™ X1950 Pro or better
Seriously show me when you do. I've been irritable for weeks now over trying to find the best 27 inch for my money.
I just bought 3 AOC 27" monitors. They had them on sale at Fry's Electronics for $200 a piece. Pretty cheap for a 27". Decent specs, and overall pretty good quality. Depends if you want suburb quality, suburb price, or a little of both... One of the 3 had a few dead pixels, so I returned it same day and got a new one no prob. Samsung also makes some pretty good 27" monitors for pretty cheap. I went from a 23" to a 27" and it's awesome, totally worth it... the dual monitor setup is great too for gaming in full-screen and watching streams/videos/forums on the other display. Good luck!
