Alot of life is about money. Making smart financial decisions is crucial. If you've naive enough to think a Philosophy degree will make you happy, then sure, good for you. Ignorance is blissful. I've worked at too many shitty wage jobs with people who have Bachelors and Masters degrees to know that they made a big mistake somewhere along the line. It was always a crappy degree with little to no value. You know what? They're in debt for 10 years.

That normally is true. That's why I think people who completely waste degrees on Philosophy, Biology(usually), General, or really any degree they're never going to use. It's 30,000-50,000 for a waste. I mean, they could have bought everyone on this forum a PS3 instead.
I have less respect for someone who goes out and gets a Philosophy degree for 50,000. I've seen some einsteins in my time. Where I think college would only mentally restrict them.
