that's because they don't consider (the trainers) the robotics team as anything that deals with competing. Now granted i understand that people can get hurt anytime anywhere, but it's that whole mentality that if you get hurt you have to be on a sports team
yeah, we have one of those sleds, they aren't cardboard, their heavily padded dummies and you don't EVER hit those with your head. Yeah, we banged heads before games but not really hard. We would actually get punished if we led a hit with our head.
well if you did hit it with your head then you know what your trainer would say..... ICE IT!
hahahahaha..... you snap your neck don't worry just put some ICE on it!
well maybe not so much equipment as it was technical skill exercises. I know for shot put we had to take the shot put and throw it behind our heads. It was quite embarrasing while everyone else ran around in a circle.
I never played tennis, that wasn't a sport for me, the whole hit the ball with a racket never was ideal for me, i perfer to hold the ball in my hand whether it be a shot put or a basketball or a volleyball.
lol.... that's an interesting way of looking at what they practice with.... but then again there are a lot of stupid devices we use just to practice any sport.
well i don't really see a difference in the way people think or act, maybe because my best friend is the biggest video geek i know of, but whatever if you truly wanna punch me in the face then go for it.
oh ok.... i guess i get it.... i just figure you are all human and there really is no differences between everyone.... we all like different things, so i guess that's why i never understood. oh well.... thanks for the explanation acid
yes all in all we do agree what trainers are idiots!
