Even if what they saw were actual UFO's (from ET's), I'd say they were satellite type of objects from whatever ET's they were from. I highly doubt they'd send manned vassals to a planet to simply orbit it and look at astronauts in space, and not actually visit it. Seems more productive to just send a satellite or probe.
A plausible thought, but I would expect an astronaut to be able to tell the difference, after all they are the ones who often launch them into space and pretty much do all the hands on repairs. But if you listen to the video of Gordon Cooper, his two encounters were not while he was in space. Buzz's couldn't have been either, it was keeping pace with them while heading towards the moon.
Yeah, I would indeed congratulate the government on a job well done for hiding the secret all this time; if there is a secret.
I mean, Area 51? My best non-alien related guess is that it is out there for nuclear weapon testing.
We have a nuclear test site here, it's about 100 miles away, they stopped testing Nukes years ago and almost tested the MOAB until people freaked out.

Which isn't proof. You can't say someone is good at covering stuff up unless they reveal they actually ahve covered something up, because otherwise we don't know there is a cover up.
Meaning, until they actually say they have hid aliens, we can't know that they are actualyl hiding aliens. If they are good at covering up stuff that is.
...
Or they think it's good the public doesn't know the US is researching anti-matter bombs or something to that effect. Doesn't mean they've got aliens in there just because their employees are mysterious about it.
Yes sure, I agree with all those points, but it is the site where the Roswell stuff supposedly ended up. Either way I believe there are aliens out there, we're in space, we have visited other planets by satellite, and at least 3 astronauts claim to have seen UFO's and believe this too. It's really not much of a stretch to think there are more advanced life forms out in space that have made their way here.
You mean asking IF the government is supressing information.
Ok, so there are a lot of people who claim to have seen UFO's. A lot of people claim to have seen Elvis. Does that mean he's alive?
Credible people have also come out. Buzz Aldrin, the ever second astronaut, constantly overshadowed by Neil Armstrong by only being the second man on the moon. Maybe he wants some attention before his death, I don't know. But I'm saying there could be a lot of scenarios other than truth compelling him and others to tell us there are aliens.
Because if there is a cover-up, it's got to be the best damn shit I've ever seen or heard of.
The government is pretty good at covering up what it wants to, even many of the so called leaks you hear about are intentional planted information. Take the alleged power plant networks being compromised or the new story on the US jet fighter project being hacked. I think those stories are a load of bull, they are more likely ruses, a big hackers carrot if you will, to get the wrong people to try and hack into the networks for the purpose of tracking their efforts. If those events really happened, they would not make the news. I can tell you with certainty the government operates more discretely than that. In my current job I have to comply the government's network standard's (STIG's) as laid down by DISA for the DoD and answer to government bodies and have been audited by the OIG.
I don't live all too far from Area 51, and many people in Vegas unofficially work at undisclosed locations, I know a number of people who have military security clearance and cannot tell me what they do. Many of them have told me "there are some things the public are better off not knowing" with respect to government secrets. Many of them do believe we are not alone, of course I never get any elaboration on what they might know.
Seen Elvis? LOL! I see Elvis here in Vegas all the time, he hangs out at the little wedding chapels.
I don't think so, a lot of people with reputable backgrounds are now coming out these days, Buzz Aldrin was one, and just today on CNN
Former astronaut: Man not alone in universe
(CNN) -- Earth Day may fall later this week, but as far as former NASA astronaut Edgar Mitchell and other UFO enthusiasts are concerned, the real story is happening elsewhere. Mitchell, who was part of the 1971 Apollo 14 moon mission, asserted Monday that extraterrestrial life exists, and that the truth is being concealed by the U.S. and other governments.
...
Mitchell grew up in Roswell, New Mexico, which some UFO believers maintain was the site of a UFO crash in 1947. He said residents of his hometown "had been hushed and told not to talk about their experience by military authorities." They had been warned of "dire consequences" if they did so.
But, he claimed, they "didn't want to go to the grave with their story. They wanted to tell somebody reliable. And being a local boy and having been to the moon, they considered me reliable enough to whisper in my ear their particular story."
Why wouldn't we believe now. We have Astronaut's who have seen them and are convinced we are not alone. Given how pervasive life has proven to be, why is it surprising to anyone there is intelligent life somewhere else. We have traveled to space, does that not make us space travelers? When we sent probes to Mars, didn't that make us space aliens? Why do people resist the idea that others might have done it first on another planet and found a way to check out planets like ours?

I know this is a weird question, but does anyone have any personal experience with aliens? Or at least think they may have?
I haven't, I have just heard some crazy stories from people before!
When I lived in Monterey (aaaah now there is a place to move back to) I knew a fisherman who swore up and down his boat had a close encounter, he said it got within 50' of the boat. He described a huge saucer like object with a number of lights on it that darted around his boat at insane speeds, and then hovered just above it for almost 20 minutes. He said it made no noise at all and eventually took off like a bat out of hell straight up into the sky.
This guy was a commercial fisherman, he never came across as being egotistical or needing to be in the limelight. Nor did he come across as someone who needed to tell people fantastic stories or anything like that, pretty down to earth person. I took him seriously.
I believe that the earth is in such a privilaged position in the universe that for life to exist on anoter planet, it have to be in an entirley different universe.
P.S. if u dont know, the earth is in the exact center of the universe. Scientists know this because every other galaxy is travling away from us.
The Milky Way is moving like all known galaxies are
Milky Way moving away from void
Astronomers have discovered that the Milky Way and neighboring galaxies are being pushed from the Local Void at 600,000 mph, meaning the void must be very large and very empty. NASA / WMAP Science Team http://www.astronomy.com/asy/default.aspx?c=a&id=5669
X-rays Reveal What Makes the Milky Way Move
A new survey by University of Hawaii astronomers has found that, in a tug-of-war of cosmic proportions, our Milky Way galaxy is being pulled toward the largest concentration of matter in the observable Universe. This finding is being presented today by UH graduate student Dale D. Kocevski and collaborators at the American Astronomical Society meeting held in Washington, D.C. http://www.ifa.hawaii.edu/info/press-releases/kocevski-1-06/
I'm certain we are not alone, everything we know about life says life is very robust. UFO Bob, I mention above worked out at the site in area 51. We have no lack of people around Vegas with security clearance, they definitely do some heavy stuff out at China Lake. There are untagged non-commercial 737's that take off from Vegas and have no known flight plans, I have seen them.
Of those I have met I've never gotten one to spill what they know, they can't of course, but except to say to me there are some things you should be glad you don't know. They do say there is serious technology getting done in hidden places. These people don't get to talk about what they do, they can't give even their friends a heads up of where they will be except minutes before they do it, even simple things like getting picked up to go out.
You get a call and hear pick me up at such and such a place in 20 minutes, and that is all the warning you get. Then you don't even get to talk about what they do, you just go do friend things and hang with them until they have to leave and then you drop them off at wherever they need to be dropped off at. Not the kind of life I would want to have, but they get paid well for that security clearance.

Roughly 10 years ago, Mitchell claimed, he was finally given an appointment at Pentagon to discuss what he had been told.

(Good read)
At some point we need to stop asking if these people are kooks and start asking why is the government suppressing this information?
That's too bad because we could really use more intelligent life here on earth.
