-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
I meant its not really a mods job to try and keep guild members active. they more work with active/inactive site members of whom, some are guild members, so i guess technically it is their job. but indirectly.
course blizzard could just go ahead and announce a new diablo game, and im pretty sure the inactivity would virtually dry up.

Or Silver, for that matter. I'm just used to putting it all on Elfen's shoulders.
like everything else here. fortunately now i can pass on some of the mod work to other people. god 1 person doing everything for everyone was a killer, i barely have time to see who is active let alone do something about them, plus mod, plus post, plus play any of the diablo games. posting and playing are requirements of the guild.
so yeh being booted or something for failing to do that is starting to look good right about now, but id prefer that be the last resort at the moment.

You have to own Hellfire too? >_<. I guess that kicks me out of the guild lol. Will you make an exception? Lol.
no you misread, you must own at least 1 of those 4 games, But it is preferable you own D2/LOD, so we can all play together until d3 comes out.

you must first own, or possess a copy, cracked or otherwise, of either Diablo, Diablo: Hellfire, Diablo II and Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, and play them regularily, or as much as time allows.
you must be an active member of this community, 1 or 2 posts a day should be achievable.
and finally upon acceptance to the guild you will serve for a minimum of 3 months. By serve i mean you will remain active on this site as well as battle.net.
prehaps the last one is in need of reviving but a large number of people are highly inactive and thus will be removed or moved to a more fitting role within the guild.

To Elfen
A group of people with unusual interests, that's what I would say.
i play a lot of dungeons and dragons as a cleric of helm or a Paladin of Torm. in regards to the whole Lord God Silver thing, i just subbed Silver for Helm/Torm.
dungeons and dragons/Role Playing isnt so unusal is it? prehaps the extent of the RP is.

Cult: In religion and sociology, a cult is a group of people (often a new religious movement) devoted to beliefs and goals which may be contradictory to those held by the majority of society. Its marginal status may come about either due to its novel belief system or due to idiosyncratic practices that cause the surrounding culture to regard it as far outside the mainstream.
but prehaps a better definition of what we are is, a bunch of people coming together to celebrate a series of similar interests, such as the Diablo series and anything pertaining to it such as the universe its set in and its lore, and the gameplay of said games.
just a great group of people who enjoy one hell of a bad ass series together.
oh and some of us do enjoy a good bit of role playing.

HELLSING and GXAII are probably the other most active sub guilds.
HELLSING has 2 who play, and 5 who post
GXAII has 3 who play and 5 who post
rough count, i didnt look into it too much.
ok inactivity has plagued me long enough, so i did something about it, here is the new sign up sheet.
