PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

I will send a pm and put a post in the Beta forum there.
Anything else we need from him.
You know, I would love to just get all the info from Kato directly. As much as I can understand his wish for players to discover things on their own, the whole point of creating a wiki like this in the first place is to give the player another option. I just want to create a great resource for players to use for Zy-El, and to get people interested in the mod even. THe mod has seen better days, and if this is something that can give it a small push, then isn't that worth it?

Well as it turns out, all amazon runewords all work for all three item categories except for one spear runeword. That's hardly enough to warrant three article's when they'll all say the same.
These are the things I need you to tell before we make these articles
EDIT: I'm beginning to see the problem here. http://zyel.wikispaces.com/Mistress+%28Runeword%29 Mistress for example which has been made three times, each time in a different item with different attack speeds as a result. With no way to tell whether that is item type specific or not without doing it a second time.

Charms can be of any quality if i rmemeber right, only Quad, Narrow, Hex and Tall will appear in White Quality, Not all charms will show the properties of Socket (X)
But all can theoretically be found with 2 sockets, and thus be used for runewords?

I've created a list of all the runes in Zy-El. I think there's a benefit however of having individual articles for all runes. On them, we could list all the recipes a rune might be used for, so one knows what they can use their runes for when they get them. This holds true for gems as well.
Of course, actually listing what a rune can be used for will be a lot of work, but it shall be a project for the future
Also, can runewords actually be placed in amulets/jewels/rings and charms?

I used to do Gem/Jewel but GMJ is still shorter lol

The jewel can also be Unique and Crafted. That means the jewel can be any quality.
I do not know if the reason of gmj was used due to the 3 or 4 letter codes used in item codes. I think Kato had to create more than one version of the runeword. One for the jewel and one for the gem.
Alright. Any jewel then.

also there are a few runewords that have just the jwl properties
which means it will only accept jewels (any quality) and not gems
Well in those cases, we'll just type out Jewel instead I think.

I still prefer gmj. Simple and precise. Players will get used to it
You're probably right. The best approach I think though I to create a separate article simply called gmj (Zy-El), and link all runeword to that page. That way a player can easily see what gmj actually means, while the temr remains short and true to its past.
EDIT: Created a first article: Gmj (Zy-El). I need someone to check if the info is correct.

...And we don't have a good template to display. We shall have to create that first then it seems.
Here's the regular D2 gempage redone: Gems (Diablo II). There was no point in keeping individual articles, so I opted to display all gems on one page instead. Does the design look alright?

In the meantime, we still should convert everything we already have. That's going to be enough work as it is.

Is there anything else we want on a runewords page before we start creating them all?

We can stick with Gmj I think.

Also added links on the runeword page: Polearm Runewords (Zy-El)
So a jewel also works? Hmm...
Any ideas of what to call it?
In any case, there's a first page up now. It needs some text though I think.
