I'm glad that the width is at least intended. For what it's worth, I love the wider layout MMO brings - it gives you more room for what's important without wasting tons of screen real estate. Of course, I can see why one might like it the way it is too.
That was pretty much my thought if you changed the layout you could have changed the width too. But I guess it comes down to preference? Or is there an other reason that you guys keept the narrower width?
It's the same base width (1000 pixels) as mmo-champs. The primary difference is diablofans is fixed width whereas mmo-champ is fluid. Fixed, meaning no matter how wide you make your browser window, it stays the same. Fluid, meaning the website width increases as your browser window width increases.
No i dont know what is planned Molster, nor do i care for it, i base my thoughts and opinions like the one above, on what is ALREADY done, the evidance is al over the place, it is a simpel fact, Allot has changed since Sixen left, and i for one PERSONALLY do not like those changes one bit.
Not liking the changes or liking them is a personal thing for every one of us, with that said, i would like to add that, therefor we al have the right to say so.
However: The fact that allot has changed since Sixen left is undeniable, and everyone who go's against that saying its not true, is in a hard denial phase.
Oh good grief. If you don't like it, leave. This thread is about the new forum design so please stop with the OT posts.
First, the front page is sweet. Simple and to the point.
The site logo is freakin awesome.
I like that the header bar of every post is the same color, but as someone mentioned it does seem to be a bit bold. It would also be nice if the body of posts would alternate between the current color and something a bit lighter. The color change would make it easier to differentiate posts.
Nested quotes are hard to see where one ends and another begins. Perhaps a similar method to alternate shades
And finally, a way to "roll up" the current online users list like we can with forum sections would be nice
The transparent part of an image isn't carried over when said image is used as an avatar.
One last thing...new badges for the staff. Something that doesn't blend in with the forum colors

That would be why it works fine for me. I have all the signatures hidden.
