I think it has to do more with Upload than Download...
which is my greater worry right now.
my average up rate is 0.27 Mbps
and here is system config:
Operating System:
Windows 2.6.0.6002 (Service Pack 2)
CPU Type:
Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
CPU Speed:
2.42 GHz
System Memory:
4 GB
Video Card Model:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460
Video Card Memory:
2.72 GB
Video Card Driver:
nvd3dum.dll
Desktop Resolution:
1280x1024
Hard Disk Size:
465.76 GB
Hard Disk Free Space:
175.27 GB (38%)
Download Speed:
227.75 kB/s (1.9 mbps)
You're all set, unless you plan to play multiple games at the same time.
Also, I'd get a 16:10 or a 16:9 monitor (optional)
...
Might want to ask that at dual-boxing.com forums, but from my experience network is not a problem at all with these type of games - you do need the cpu power to run 4x instances though, either on one or multiple machines.
Also, you will need 4x accounts.
Thanks, I will check out the forum but think it will be far too complex for me... i was thinking just 4 PCS in one room, big table, dominos menu I need to know what bandwidth I would need, I only have 1MB, but can get 5, 10 or 20 - I am guessing that 1 is out, 5 probably not enough but is 20 overkill?
Depends on the final release, but I'm guessing 5 would be fine for more than 4 accounts...
My reference would be LoL where, I can be downloading something at 100KB/s of my 128KB/s, and still have <100 lagg.

...Apologies if I sounded like I was trying to tell you what to do, just saw a lot of the same questions coming up through the thread
Ok, so heres a different question you maybe able to answer - what bandwidth do I need to run 4 instances of D3 at the same time? And what kind of network would I need - I assume wireless would be out?
I'm assuming you cannot enter the same game with 4 of your own characters... nice idea tho
I kept trying all the resolution, and in full windowed mode, and in just windowed mode. They were all the same for lag.
I'm sorry to inform you, but HD4200 is worse than x1950 Pro, I would recommend buying a better card if you plan on playing the Beta or the game after... maybe something like HD6670 (it shouldn't be expensive - $70 or $80)...
How can my graphics be that bad, the computer is only a couple months old and it wasn't cheap. Maybe there will be a low graphics option at release as there is only medium quality as it stands. Well thanks anyways, I guess if nothing changes ill just tread through the slight fps lag or whatever.
The HD4200 was made in 2009, as a low-end graphics card. Although your CPU is still a force not to be reckoned with (as good as the newer i3-2100 SandyBridge).
IMO, buy a better Graphics card. If you want something to be a match to your CPU, buy a AMD Radeon 6850, and you should be able to run the game at full HD all High-ish
Hi I'm not really good with technical stuff. Could someone tell me if my system meets the minimum requirements?CPU Type: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 250 ProcessorCPU Speed: 3.02 GHzSystem Memory: 4 GBVideo Card Model: NVIDIA GeForce GT 220Video Card Memory: 2.71 GBVideo Card Driver: nvd3dum.dll

Thanks, cause on the beta login in screen(I just have the client downloaded, not actually in it) the options are really laggy when going from one such as video to sound, it takes a while for it to be highlighted, and my graphics card is better than minimum too for sure.
What resolution are you playing on, and what Graphics card do you have?

What resolution are you playing on, and what Graphics card do you have?
Yours is 3.04 times better according to benchmark tests
Or... would a C-50 Fusion be able to run it...
What do you think?
