It can't be because we are admins. Because I had that when I was a regular user. But it should be the same for all.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Or are you guys talking about something else? I'm thoroughly confused if you are.

I kind of like this suggestion, it could even open new topics involving gameplay.
What does this have to do with this site? That is what this thread is about, suggestions for this site.
Some kind of check box or something when adding to/detracting from a poster's reputation that allows the option to include the sender's name, and maybe an option in User CP that presets it to "always" or "never" so you don't have to click/unclick it each time.
Under User CP it does say who send you the rep point. "Posted By".
Not sure what you mean my click/unclick. It's always on (for me) Was before I was a moderator/admin.

In your profile you can list Instant Messenger handles like MSN, AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, So why not Xfire?
First post could do with an update as to the status of these suggestions.

I've been on forums that have had an area for philosophical debating and an off topic section. It works quite well.

I still feel Role Playing is a club or group thing, as it's only a select few that do it, rather than the entire collective of users, who all use the general section. General is more for general things, things that often do not have purpose. Role Playing is very specific and targeted.

It seems to be exclusive to Elfen Lied's "D3.com" group of roleplaying threads, so this title and description would make sense
It is not exclusive to just my RP threads. They are just the only ones in there. If someone else wants to make a RP thread. It will go in there as well.
I believe the aforementioned forums should be merged into General Discussion. They seem to exist only to extend the number of forums, and are relatively unpopular by themselves.
We had that before, threads about movies and books got covered up by the multitude of well spam threads and duplicate threads. So we seperated them out.
Rest of the stuff raises a few good points though.

An area for deep discussion and debate. Philospohical stuff. Relgion, Life, etc.
The downside to this area is it's very nature. It often incites flame, but prehaps if flame rules in this area are altered a little.

but I wouldn't mind getting to have the word in that neat custom text that the Ancient position is in.
I would need to do some research, but I imagine that to be an impossiblity.
Not unless you made the image yourself and made it so your title was the image of which you speak. As one who hasthe ability to make your title whatever you so choose, that would be possible. Assuming HTTP or linking is allowed in custom titles. Otherwise my answer is a gritty, in your face no.

Somewhat similar to the reputation system is the gift system. Where in users can send gifts to other members, for things as trivial as the day being their birthday, or as complex and the discussion and deeper understanding of the lore of a topic.
If you scroll down you can see the gifts I have recieved.
Or prehaps I will save you the trouble.

Other sites that I have been too do not allow the use of avatars(and even Sigs in some cases) until users prove themselves worth of having such a privilege. Having an avatar should be a privilege, not a right.

I think Umaro or Mockery moved that. It's only temporary I'm sure. It probably got bumped down because ofthose spammy WWI threads.

Figured we should get to updating all that stuff before we go and make new sections and clans.

I think we should, if we go the route of forum clans, start with just the one (more can be made later as numbers swell), I don't think we have quite enough people for much more than 3 clans, based on the fact forums are neglected enough as it is.
So we need a commitee or council (and probably a name), some requirements, and a clan banner.

the closed we have is the chatroom, which does work, you just have to use the right one.
