Well, Diablo III was announced and I can only imagine what's the forum going to turn into. Give us this back-of-the-school-bus thingy now. I say 500 posts and 1 month for members... And hello everyone on this glorious day. I woke up 44 minutes ago. Missed everything. And my avatar is gone.
what is the point of this new forum clan?
what will it bring to the forums?
what was the idea for starting this?
1) To give a niche for the more "serious" members where they can discuss whatever they discuss separated from the flood of newcomers that keep spamming.
2) Isn't that the same as the first question?
3) Old members are not visiting the forums much anymore because of too much spam.
Why do we care about what other forums did? I just want a section that's separate from those newbs over there *points at Diablo 3 Chat*. I don't care what's in it. I care who's in it.
Well, the way I looked at this forum is basically a single section (e.g., no divisions) for serious, long-term discussions. E.g., if someone does want to discuss WWI, it's just one thread, and it's only the members of that forum, so it wouldn't ever get as flooded, and, members who were accepted into that committee are not rule-breakers or at least not too big ones.
I remember fbim4. I banned him, and I got a lot of newly registered people PMing saying they are his friends. I wonder if they weren't actually HIM, I never checked the IP's...
Anyway, we should get back to the clan proposals. I suppose Elfen is trying to get high posting people on the committee?

It's an easier community to moderate, probably, but I am pretty sure a big chunk of people would not want me back: http://www.diablofans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6373
