You are late, and also you cannot have derogitory terms as ranks such as scum. And the correct term for Dung Peasant is Gong Farmer.

My intial two day longer submittion period expires at the end of today.
So the poll would probably be made on the morrow, before I go to work, then spend all day wishing I was playing LOD.

Mayhaps I should change my rank to List King of Df.com me thinks, (a parody of the Witch King of Angmar of sorts, or maybe even the Witch King of Naggaroth) I am known for my lists almost as much as I am known for any other quality or quirk I may have here.
8 is still too many. I'm thinking three or perhaps four max. That way we can actually get a decent turnout on a voting
Eight is far too many, now if you'd asked my advice, I'd have left off at four.
Do we have nay other organizations which could be represented? Or are there any other suggestions that could be created? Perhaps a combination of Horadrim Necromanercs, Sorecresses etc? I don't know, I'm just asking, are there any other suggestions which are at least based off of something in Sanctuary that makes sense?
Hard to say, by the time of Diablo II and LOD, the Horadrim has disbanded, and the mage clans have once again adopted their old ways, yet the Zakarum retains it's sense of order and structure, even in the East.
And the Necromancers were never part of the Horadrim, so I do not think I would like combining their Rathma society with any who shuns them.

There should be two, maybe even three polls. One for the rank titles, and one for the rank layout, and maybe one for the rank icons.
Two prehaps, since Zakarum+quest icons was an option. One I would most definitely like to see implimented.

it is also the only human organization we know of with this many possible ranks
That is a very good point.
We know of other orders, but nonewith quite as many ranks. Rathma has priest, some sort of high priest some primus or eldar type rank and an initiatve level rank to be sure, but that is only 4, and two I cannot guarantee with all certainty.
The Barbarian society has Kings and cheiftains, hunters, but again not enough to truly gauge the full range of ranks here. Zakarum actually falls a few short, but it is the closest, unless we dock a few ranks.

Those look an awful lot like Zakarum ranks to me, being that the governing body ofthe Zakarum church is a Council, with a Que-Hagan (President) at it's head.

Then how about removing some now? I don't mean to insult anyone, but some suggestions I think are out of the question.
That is why I compiled them here not in a new thread. I to feel some are out of the question.
I just like to have it as the final one, that's all. I think it really fits with the new development of the Diablo storyline that's come in the last year
Plus I love the 3 barbarian ancients in LOD all saying "We are the spirits of the Nephalem...." all in unison. How cool was that.

It, like decapitalising the "The" wouldn't realy be a seperate option as it would be using another list.
We need to cut down the options until we vote, 17 is way too many. I like the Zakarum ones the most as of now.
Some are largely the same, or prehaps better saved for a secondary poll or discussion. Many of the option for example all use the Zakarum titles.
And as the final title I really do want Nephalem
I agree. However you and I would be honorary Nephalem, as mod and an admin respectfully, our stati void us of the title of Nephalem. At least initially, we can decide to make a custom title Nephalem, our user names are colour coded to denote our status.
I really do want Nephalem to be the final title. But I also like order and structure, such as given by an Order like the Zakarum. But that is kind of weird considering what the Zakarum is, but then again, the Que-Hagan of the Zakarum Order is almost considered a demi-god among men. I don't really know, I love those titles, and the use of the gothic looking quest icons.

That was largely my point. I love anything gothic. Well not everything, Goths the music ones not the Dark Ages ones, are weird. But Medieval gothic architecture and literature, that stuff is awesome.
This site is largely missing the heavy gothic overtones present in the game we all love and enjoy. I would like to see more of it around here.

Specter is the name given to lurkers in Atrumentis' comic. Most lurkers are people who have yet to post, which would make their post count 0. The second the post, they are no longer a specter or lurker.

You think you will get to 10k? Ive been here since 23rd of Febuary 06, I post 10 times a day, I am the only one who is anywhere near that total, and hey would you look at that, I am an admin. My status as an admin would override any user rank we make. And I also have a Custom title, which overrides anything. But I did have one, like I said, my rank would say Administrator. Not Nephalem or whatever the title is for 5000+ posts.

So i thought we were debating about the list, which is more important than the 'layout' of the rank...?
Initially we were, then it seemed everyone liked the Zakarum list. Then everyone proceeded to look at layout, thus in effect answering the poll before it was made.
Personally I think we should have one that takes Sanctuary's neutral aspects into consideration, much like what Atrumentis has said. I don't know if I like the Zakarum as a base for it, though it would be original. I do like the idea of having Nephalem as the "final rank". I definately think that should be the end.
If something is good and bad isn't it neutral? The Zakarum is both. Western Zakarum is good, Eastern Zakarum is bad (I.E corrupted by Mephisto)
Nephalem should definitely be the last rank.

Well as far as titles are concerned, a poll is now largely unnecessary, prahps the poll should now be concerned with placement as size.
I imagine tomorrow, being a monday for me will leave with naught but enough time to make all but the minimum of posts here, so I put it to you the people, to create the poll in which placement of image and title, is to decided.
I personally like the gray images. Traditionally, gothic architecture is stone or granite, not vibrate colours. This is Diablo, not Pokemon.
