Sounds like a great idea. My problem is I want to run a wizard to 60 first and start farming before I get into any other classes. Seems as though you are wizard heavy atm. My second char is gonna be based mainly on the loot I get, unless its WD loot. I don't want to play that class until last.
As far as your questions, been a Diablo fan since I saw the trailer on WC2.
I started a clan in D1. Been in guilds in Tactical Ops (FPS unreal tournment mod), Star Wars galaxies and WoW. Just so you know though, i am lazy when it comes to game leadership. I want to play, not deal with peoples problems. When I joined my WoW guild (which had many of my SWG members) my joining condition was I was to be given no authority over others. They made me an officer anyway. DOH!
3rd Wizard.
4th. I'm not rushing in one sense, but am in another. I don't like to show up to bosses underleveled and get 1 shotted to pieces. So while I am going to be fast paced, i still want the lore and I will kill every demon I can find before I get to the boss.
5th I'm playing everyday.
6th. I use vent when I have too, but I am not a fan. I don't mind talking but the subjects that come up on vent can be a bit annoying. I also hate the guy who thinks he has to tell everyone what to do all the time. You know the guy, the one who will give you detailed instructions on how to wipe your ass. Hey man, i got it, its a bio break, I'm not sending a lego man into orbit.
7th. Suggestions. My worst fear in joining a group like this of people isI really don't know how many people will really be giving up much stuff for trade iin early weeks of the game. There will be alts, rl friends, RMAH or AH, mats needed for artisans, and then I would be adding one more group of people to a list of all ready demanding sources my gear will go. After a few weeks, I could see gear being shared more though. You may want to come up with an incentive to have those people prioritize gear for your group first. Maybe something like those who share the most gear, get first dibs in game spots. Of course, people could throw trash your way then. Probably would have to create a gear score/grade. Gear score is kind of a four letter word or phrase however.
8th Central US
9th. Yes 38
10th I'm willing to share, trade, give or whatever but probably more after first few weeks. I need to get myself settled into the game.
11th. Sometimes I like being a loner, sometimes I enjoy the company. Its normally a 50/50 mix for me.
To give you a summary of how my playing will go. I am definitely going to play solo until SK. I don't want to be rushed to him because everyone is bored with the content. After that, I may try a pug unless friends are on already. I have a group of at least 5 that want to run almost everyday. I have another group of 11 or so that will hop back and forth between SWTOR and Diablo. I probably end up doing some solo stuff if I not feeling the group play. I would love to join a dedicated group too. I just feel I maybe starting to cut my playtime up between different groups too much.
Last bit of info. I plan on playing 3 hours on, 1 hour off to manage my righthand injury (steak knife through palm of hand.) A click intensive game can bother it. Diablo isn't too bad though, its heavy thumb movement that causes most pain and swelling.
