Heart of the Swarm Beta Key Giveaway
Diablofans has some keys to give away for the beta test of Heart of the Swarm! We will be giving away 2 keys every day (Monday - Friday) for the next two weeks. The rules are simple: post a comment relevant to the news in the comment section below. As long as it's on topic, you've entered.

No Holiday Patch Planned
At least it's now official that there won't be a holiday patch. But the PvP blog? Who knows.
Scheduled Game Maintenance - 12/18/2012
There will be a scheduled maintenance this week.
We will be performing scheduled game maintenance for Diablo 3 on Tuesday, December 18th. Maintenance will begin at 5:00 AM PST and is expected to last for 2 hours. During this time Diablo 3 will not be available for play. In addition, many web services will be unavailable.
Pickup Radius
I actually recently posted concerning pickup radii here, and I highly recommend checking out that particular thread.
In short: we like that there are different itemization choices, and that players often have to weigh their options when comparing gear in order to be the most efficient, to have the greatest DPS, to find the best loot, etc. We do appreciate the feedback, though! (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)
Will Invulnerable Minions Ever Return?
We don’t have any current plans for the Invulnerable affix to rear its head and return. We felt it was a frustrating affix for many players, and that it was out of line with the other affixes, which is why we removed it. In a similar way, we feel that the Reflects Damage affix isn’t quite where we want it to be, which is why we’re looking intomaking some adjustments to the mechanics of how it works, as well as fixing a related bug. Best Songs While Playing Diablo?
It depends greatly on my mood and what hero I'm playing, but lately I find myself playing a lot of Nightwish, Amethystium, E.S. Posthumus, Two Steps from Hell, movie soundtracks (such as the work of James Newton-Howard, Hans Zimmer, and Danny Elfman), and Imagine Dragons when I play Diablo III.
