Getting this game pvp ready will kill it off completly. The amount of resources needed to balance this shit would kill all future content patches.
the game doesnt have content patches, so i don't see the downside of this.
And I'm being dead serious. New game modes and a new class that you can get to 70 within 3 hours isn't exactly acceptable "content". You still get bored within days like vanilla.
Players would expect pvp to be balanced and skillbased. Diablo is a time and dedication based power fantasy.
All the devs had to do was create the numbers of the original game with PvP in mind and there'd be almost no tweaking required. There's no difference between a monster having 100 billion health and taking 2 hits to kill and a monster having 1000 health and taking 2 hits to kill, but then when you transfer the same system to PvP you have to implement these stupid -% damage modifiers that don't work at all.
