I think it looks great, man! I also have a dream to make truly hardcore and fun rogue-like hacnk'n'slash RPG. Let me know what people you need. Designers. programmers, etc
Right now I'm the only developer. My expertise is programming, I could use anyone really that has a talent and would like to help out. I'm also willing to help teach along the way. I'm not a good graphic artist so If we can find one that is good with 3D Modeling and Meshes this project will happen for sure.
We still also got testing, the story, balancing and item creation etc.
Dark_Sol what are you good at? And also what do you enjoy doing when it comes to game development?
Also itaborai, thanks I wanted to try and recreate the dark atmosphere some people are saying its to dark. I know in the game its a bit lighter than the vids.
I don't have any talents in development but I would love to help you test and give detail feedback on gameplay bugs etc. I don't want to play it just to play it but would like to help you in your development and I can help with the lore. I have played the DIablo universe since the original and many other ARPGs.
Just from what I see of the videos I believe the level of darkness if just fine especially with the lighting effects of the spells adding to the area. Gives your spells more meaning as they aren't just there to slay hordes of zombies but also used as a utility to show what's around you. Imagine your fighting 4 zombies and you cast a fireball and that fireball briefly lights the area upon explosion as it does now giving you the knowledge that another two zombies are just beyond this group slowly walking towards the battle. It adds a whole other effect to the immersion.
