"[Diablo1+2] obviously had the gothic look to it, but, you they weren't, they weren't very uh, very colorful games."
"We want to take dark as an emotion, rather than an actual color art choice." -Rob Pardo
"Why the hell shouldn't it be for 'kiddies', it's a goddamn game afterall." -lethlan
I'm not so sure that people are taking notice of the fact that the witcher is a very hardware intensive game. Blizzard isn't aiming for a hardware intensive game.
The Witcher (2007) uses the Aurora engine. This engine was used for NWN 1 back in 2002.
Diablo 3 is scheduled for about 2010.
And you're saying Blizzard can't compete with an engine from 2002??
You're underestimating Blizzard.

So why don't you just go and play The Witcher? It's obviously a good game. I enjoy it.
But it's not Diablo 3, nor would I want Diablo 3 to look like it.
Ultra is not saying the Witcher is a better game than Diablo 3.
He's saying the graphics in Witcher are better.
And don't start about how "if D3 has good graphics then gameplay will suck"
We addressed and answered this many times.

I guess this is how people want Radament to look like in Diablo 3
that would be sweet.
