I'm just classifying it to my choosing. Perhaps it is meant to be a hack and slash, but I know I will overlook that everytime I play for the plot. I decide the most prominent genre of a game based on what is most influential to me.
I fear people like this guy are developping the game.
I'm not going to call it a hack and slash game if it involves an excellent plot. You can get over yourself.

don't mind black, he's just trying to get his post count up
which includes, in the case, making up new terms or definitions and then vainly trying to defend them (battlenet M1 lol..)
I'm just trying to make up for lost time, blood-doll. That MI thing; yeah maybe I should've thought about 2.0, but I didn't so oh well.
The game is a hack & slash like the previous two have been. Plot has nothing to do with it. D3 might delve deeper into some finer RPG aspects of the genre, but it still remains a H&S, and that's been obvious since the announcement.
All I am saying is you can't say it is just a hack and slash if it gives you a back story, and more interaction than sword to flesh. Because of these reasons, I don't call it a hack and slash, and treat that aspect of the game as just one of the many facets it shall have.
Oooh let's make weapons! We can frolic through the forest and look for ingredients, weeeeeeee!
Yeah, I hate it when you have to play the role of a smtih, except you aren't a smith, and you're just some crazy guy with a stick. DS2 reminded me so much of Blizzard games; the way they used the same HUD and acts.
Who knows? Anyone has a shot at being another playable character now lol.
I have no idea how much money I am actually going to spend on Diablo 3 things, because you know they will make much merchandise!

Thank-you, but I couldn't leave Phineas out! (Signature).
You and everyone else.
