Now that the screenshots bring it up, God of War graphics would be great for this game. Given, certain things would have to be simplified. Possibly make the game a bit darker to make it more thematic and less difficult to process. If only I could revote, I would pick God of War 2. By the way, I played it and beat it. That is a great game. Freaking great. Plus, I'd love to see someone like Diablo rendered as vididly as the bosses in the cinematics of this game.
They did that in Harvest Moon for PS1. Great idea. And with some work, Blizzard could make the game fully 3D. That way, you can see all those places that would normally be hidden behind semi-transparent objects, like in Diablo 2.
Oblivion graphics would most likely destroy the fanbase. It costs to much to buy computers that can handle it, especially since Diablo will most likely be an online game, for the most part. Average contemporary graphics are our best bet. That way, the majority of people can play it, and everyone is basically happy. And when I say average contemporary graphics, I just mean the quality of graphics.
No graphics is better for the new diablo III game then the graphics of Diablo II. That's what makes the game so awesome.
I care to disagree on the basis that graphics do not make the game. Gameplay does that. I think that instead of a pixelation, they should have the same style, but with 3d models.
Meh, I found Lineage graphics to be a bit mediocre for its time. But they were nice. I just figure that...like I've said many times before, a 3D-ized D2 graphics thing would be nice. But judging from that Havok image, it's pretty close to what I was hoping for.
It could just be a concept. 3D graphics in the making usually look something like that. But then again, they're still looking for 3D designers for that "unannounced project", so it's possibly just a prototype. Either that or a fake. Both are just as likely. It could be that Blizzard is working on making the first trailer for it.
Well, if you're Helen Keller. That means you're blind and deaf. And that means you can't see what I'm saying. So that means you should shut the fuck up. Do the math, dipshit.

Don't expect anyone to take your opinions seriously, or to think you have the slightest bit of intelligence when you type, then. You type as badly when you're high as when you're sober, then. So I see no need to "stfu" till you pull your head out of your ass and learn proper English.
Dang, this Diablo 3 evidence, is finally starting to pile up. I think we can definitely expect something highly significant, to say the least, soon after the WoW expansion is released.
D2 graphics here i mean why WoW?????? who the fuck wpuld bvote for that wtf??? lol
Okay, I can respect your opinion about graphics, but can you please look at what you type before you post it? Unless your fucking name is Helen Keller, I don't there's an excuse for you to type like you're smashing your head on your keyboard.
Blizzard is not going to make D3, if they make it, like WoW. That would piss off far more people than just those who just hate WoW. Each series that Blizzard makes has a distinct style, and knowing Blizzard, they are going to stay true to each of those styles, although they might be updated in accordance with the latest graphics capabilities. It's most likely going to end up looking like Titan Quest, which is basically a 3D version of Diablo2.
You think that Titan Quest has the graphics that D3 needs? On a side note, how are the controls? Are they cluttered and nonsensical, or is it fairly easy to play?
Do I have to repeat myself again? Oblivion requires a massive amount of computer power in order to render without lag. And considering that Oblivion is a single player game, it would be fucking incredibly impossible to play without a top of the line computer with a better than average internet connection. Blizzard would kill themselves by doing that.
There are other threads about theries with some substantial evidence that there is a D3 in the works.
I did play Dungeon Seige 1, and it was actually kind of addicting, but it didn't compare to D2. There are just so many subtleties that Dungeon Siege lacked that made D2 so much better in comparison.

What the hell? It looks like D2 with a WoW interface....
