He was so mad that legible sintax went out the door. I'm not exactly sure what he is saying but obviously he's mad. Was he responding to my post about keeping it simple or someone else?

Whoa that all seems entirely too complicated. We just want better graphics a couple news classes some more kick a** music and to hunt down and destroy the demons. See simple.

As long as the game brings back memories of what it felt like to pick up Diablo for the first time it will be alright with me. Sitting up with friends till the wee hours of the morning playing for two hours then switching off. Remembering when SOJ's could get you anything, and I was lucky enough to get 10, and had my pick of the best equipment out there. Being so totally engrossed by a game that you just can't leave it alone. As long as it does that for me. I don't really care how it turns out.
Ah yes the goold ole' days of addiction. No scratch that...obsession.

well if you tink of it like this. how long are you going to play the game. like you might not play it for a year. then you have to pay for that year. "i have never played wow so i dont know about the paying system." but ne way they probably wont have it if there is single player invovled i think. i dont even think there is anygame that you have to pay that has a single player feature.
WoW has many payment options. You can pay automatically w/ credit card monthly, bi-yearly, or yearly. Also, you can buy a pre-paid game card for 29.99 at most gaming stores and Wal-Marts for two months of game time. These cards can also be purchased at places like Amazon.com and I believe they are cheaper there, but then you have to pay shipping.

If you go to a club or a movie every weekend and spend $50.00, it's still more acceptable to society then paying $15.00 a month to play a game which is too complicated for most people.
I agree with you here that the whole thing is mental and its more acceptable in US society to pay for drinks than a game. This is horrible IMO. I mean the Japanese read manga on the way to work like people in New York on Wall Street read news papers.

I don't know how old most of the people posting in the forum are but in regards to pay to play I just want to add that paying for wow on a monthly basis is cheaper than one trip to a night club w/ drinks, cheaper than going to a movie w/ popcorn drink etc. cheaper than paying for green fees and a cart. Whatever other hobbies you may have the $15 for WoW is probably less.

I didn't like any of the starwars games. I think that if blizzard does what blizzard does there will be no problems with diablo once it comes out other than all the time we have waited, which once again is what blizzard does.

I know that blizzard has not forgotten about diablo. This was one of the games that really made them famous. I would have never in my life known what blizzard was if not for diablo and most of my gaming friends are the same way. Very few of us started with warcraft most came from diablo and expanded to play more blizzard games.

Maybe diablo is just "top secret" as the job postings say.
That would be a very interesting thing if it's true. I don't know why blizzard is trying to keep it a secret anyway. Maybe THEY don't know exactly what it will be yet.

In this case, in this world, money means power, and there's never enough of it.
I will assume also that paying 2500 salaries is expensive as well as the massive amounts of real-estate they have to have in various countries for Blizzard representation there on top of the extremely massive amounts of top-end computers and servers required to keep their games going.

Yes and in Korea that have stadiums for Star Craft. Just a random foreign countries to me remark.
